*do not rent from them***** buyer beware Lets start off with this , you call them and they tell you that renting a heat pump unit from them you will be in a contract for 2 years and 200$ to remove the unit, once you call them its 3 years 250$ plus the market value of the unit . So if your planing on selling expect a hefty bill to get rid of the unit and put a new one in for the buyers

i like they closed the customer service to protect their employees . hard to find a company that put employees first when it comes to safety.

Worst customer service ever! They try to rent you their heat pump and never service them. $700 rent per year for a heat pump means all your electricity savings go back to them in rent. Buy one online instead of paying rent forever! Oh, and they charge $250 bucks to take their old heat pump out which takes 5 minutes! I don't understand how anyone can charge $2500 per hour for this? Oh wait a minute they are a monopoly, lol.

When I first walked in, I was the only costumer there. The guy who served me didn't really seem to be happy that he had to help me, had the feeling he didn't enjoy working there. They charged me $300 for a deposit, which they said I would get back in 12 months or if I brought in confirmation that I've had power in my name before and that it was in good standing. Thats fine, idc.When I received my first bill, they charged just over $40 as a hookup fee. Which i find funny. Charge me $40 because a guy who clearly hates his job, hooks up power for me, by a push of a button. This is how companies get richer because they charge little guys out the butt for nonsense. Nonsense that we need, that is not a luxury to have.

Great utility. I have always found staff accommodating & helpful and I have had an account with Saint John Energy for many years. They invest in infrastructure in the community and work very quickly when power failures arise, which isn't often.

Just bought a house and had to take over the heat pump rental. The rental is $69+tax. The old home owners were locked in on a 3 year contract, which ends next month. I called to enquire about either getting rid of it or buying it out. Seems like neither are an option! There is an $800 removal fee! So I am pretty much forced to continue to rent this thing at a ridiculous monthly cost. It’s disgusting that they can get away with this. All I can say is DO NOT rent a pump from them. It makes absolutely no sense to do so.

Beautiful newer building friendly staff after hours sometimes can sometimes be hard to deal with but all in all very good customer service and very good company all around

Customer service is terrible. Don't bother calling because they're not going to try and help and are very rude over the phone.

The folks in Customer Service / Billing truly embody the term; Customer Service". They really do go the extra mile! After being a customer for 12 years
