My girl has been studying in af for 4 years in different countries, the courses are connected so there is no difficulties.Administration work can be done better.

Sharareh is the best teacher! She has helped me improve my french a lot. Her classes are always interactive and fun and this has helped me tremendously to gain confidence in speaking. Can't wait to have her again as teacher! Merci beaucoup!

Taraneh was my teacher in AF and one of the most intelligent teacher I've ever had in french during years of studying this language.Apart from her solid experience and education, she had a friendly cheerful attitude that makes the class full of fun and activities to enjoy while we are learning.I hope I encounter her in future in another class.

Just finished a conversation course with Taraneh Vafaee! I left each session feeling very content- the lessons were engaging, enjoyable, and well constructed. Our professor made sure each student felt heard and addressed every query with grace and good humor.

I had the fortune of receiving classes with a very knowledgeable and passionate teacher: Claire Pierrel. I have completed 3 levels so far and my daughter recently started taking classes with her as well. She finds Claire very patient and kind.

We are very pleased with AF north York location and teacher Wafaa. She is super patient, has her own teaching method to help my son to improve his French. My son has got full mark in the past semester. 5 stars!

I took several classes with AF and had a very positive experience. My teacher was Taraneh and she's always enthusiastic and explains things thoroughly. My classes were small and the atmosphere made it very easy and comfortable to participate. I feel like I've made significant progress since starting the class. I find taking classes helpful as I'm not really much of a self learner" and find I do better with the structure and consistency of a class. I also like that the focus is on speaking and listening to French rather than just learning grammar. I took my classes online via Zoom but also took in person classes in the past at my workplace. I've never taken classes on location at AF so can't speak to the facilities. But I personally found the Zoom classes to be just as effective as the in person."

I am very happy to be learning French with Claire Pierrel at Alliance Française at the North York campus. I believe that I have made progress going into A2.1 in a few weeks. Claire teaches all French-language levels, and I am enjoying her classes. Claire’s lessons are engaging and interactive, with the time flying by. The campus has helpful staff. I am eager to borrow French-language books from the campus’ library. I recommend learning French at Alliance Française at North York. Merci!

I was delighted to have Tara as my French teacher. She has an incredible gift for teaching. She is very patient — which anyone that takes a language needs – and it’s very comfortable to practice conversations, which is also a huge plus.
