Decent food, quite affordable for being in the heart of downtown Banff and by far the cheapest thing we ate while we were there. I had the shrimp egg noodle soup which wasn’t bad, it came with a decent amount of broccoli which I appreciated. My partner had the grilled chicken rice bowl and was happy with it. Really good spring rolls. They also have desserts up front, we tried a Nanaimo bar and a butter tart. The Nanaimo bar was great, butter tart tasted kinda old. If we found ourselves in Banff again we’d probably come back here based just off value alone.

Full meal for <$20pp in Banff? On Banff Avenue?? Incredible, astounding, unheard of. And bubble tea for $5 which I don’t think I’ve seen since about 2013 anywhere else (we’re in $8 territory in Calgary lately). It’s not gourmet but there’s nothing to complain about, just average diner-type food (at least for the breakfast menu & western dishes in general). The variety is WILD so this is the place to be if you want to find something for everyone’s taste. Pho bowls are massive, breakfast combos come with the whole meat/egg/carb lineup for 10 dollars or less, and again, there are just so many choices you could probably get one dish from every regional cuisine they offer and still make it out for under $25. Not a lot of real ‘service’ but they’re friendly enough & food comes out quick. A hidden gem for sure.

Overall experience: 4Affordability: 4Customer service: 4Location: 5Cleanliness: 3Quality: 4We visited this Vietnamese restaurant yesterday while we were sightseeing the Banff town center. It was conveniently located in the pedestrian area, and we were drawn to it because of their menu and prices posted outside. Upon entering the restaurant we noticed that they offer a dinner for two, so we decided to place our order. We also decided to stay in the restaurant to eat our selections. The staff was very friendly and very professional. We enjoyed our selections but felt like it was a little salty. We did like the portion sizes, and we were not able to eat all of our food. So our overall dining experience was good, and we would probably return for another visit. The main reason why we gave them a 4 rating, was because the food was kind of salty and the facility was not be maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.

There are a lots of food to choose. Vermicelli with lemongrass beef is tasty and the milk tea is good. Another food option when you go to Banff.

Wanna be Việt restaurant. What good is that they have quite a lot of selection with reasonable prices. If u r not a picky eater, then this would do. Don't if you r looking for an authentic Viet dishes. I have beef and chicken fried rice. Some in my party has pho, which they gave quite a lot of noodles. Service could be better.

I would not recommend this place.Service VERY SLOW!I’ve ordered smoothie there, the first thing which had to alarm me they didn’t list ingredients and what it made of. But I’ve ordered one. Taste SUPER SWEET! and i had feeling it made from powder, syrup and water. In best case scenario there is trace amount of fruits… but I doubt that. After a couple sips I had to toss it. It was possible for me to drink it. Definitely ITS NOT healthy fruit smoothie you expect.

The pho was delicious here! So much flavour and reasonably priced! The waitress confirmed that it was gluten free and I would be able to eat it. I bought take out and by the time I arrived it was ready and just had to pay.Lovely spot located on the pedestrian street just off of Bear St .

You’re only really going to eat here because you are tired of steak/burger/ fries and really want some good Asian broth noodle whilst sitting outside watching the jaw-dropping mountain scenery Banff has to offer. Other than that… I really don’t think this is authentic Vietnamese food (the guy speaks mandarin with a Chinese accent- so probs China, didn’t sound Taiwanese). They do at least have some authentic herbs I must say (but looking quite dead). Don’t go for anything chicken broth, my friends said it was super bland. At least the beef pho has some kind of depth to it.

Dealt with the cold weather with pho from this place! Pick up the menu and order at the counter. Friendly staff and the food is simply good. I got the combo with fried rice while my partner got the chicken pho. Great portion sizes and decent pricing, esp for a tourist centre. Recommended.
