Londonderry School

It is hard to give a rating of the school. I think most of the teachers are just average like other school. They do have some good programs, but I think the management just only care the student's academic performance, didn't mention and talk the student's overall growth as a person, behaviors, habit and social, copying with others in parents and teachers meeting. Also they didn't direct students on this area. I knew that when my kids were there couple of years ago. Until recently I know more from my kid's recall. Actually they all have good academic results there, but they actually have other these kinds of serious problems which lead to more problems in high school and student's mental health that affect maybe whole life. I also knew from my kid that one of the maths teacher she already retired couple of years ago once taught the students maths using wrong methods that is really misleading. She taught students why positive number times positive number get positive number just like a good person does a good thing, positive number times negative number get negative number just like a good/bad person does a bad/good thing, two negative numbers times together get positive number just like a bad person does bad thing all the time. THIS IS REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND MISLEADING AND SHAMFUL AS A TEACHER TEACH MATHS THIS WAY.

Bad school go elsewhere. Schoolzone for this school needs work. Other schools post the fees for students and although the is a post, you cannot see what you owe. Also, other schools offer payment through Schoolzone, Londonderry does not? Doesn't seem to be a lot on Schoolzone other than filler" articles.Although there are some good teachers/ front office

I have so much friends go and are going to this school the one's that do Go there say that it's too good I'm in grade 5 I go to Kildare elementary school I'm looking forward to come here with my friends m

My daughter went to this school a couple years ago and she thought it was horrible. Students at this school are rude and they are very openly racist. Lots of people are bullied, and if you ever told anyone, you would be ignored. If there’s any problems at this school, the only way they solve it is by giving detention or suspending students which doesn’t do anything. I highly recommend sending your child to another school.

Literally one of the worst schools but the best at hiding it. if students have problems they’re treated like suggestions (honestly the most liberal term for it). They think the only solution to everything is a one week suspension, as if that does anything, and honestly most of the kids are treated with very little respect. And the Pre AP program does very little for academics. In short, don’t go here!

this school is very bad, they dont know how to handle problems all they know is one day of suspension, if you want your child to fail this is the best school to send them to.

I wouldn't say it was a bad school but I told one of the teachers about a issue that had happened but yet she respond to me saying okay I'll make sure it doesnt happen and she said she would help in anyway possible she did nothing after that. Pretty disappointing.

All of yall down there leaving one star reviews, stop trolling, I only wrote this because of you. This is a wonderful school with many different fun courses and options, along with great teachers. Of course, not all of them may be perfect, but in my opinion they are pretty darn good. The school makes an effort of trying to recognize diversity and mental health and do an alright job, but, like most schools, could do better. The student body is very diverse and I have never encountered bullying. It's a very academic school and has a great mandarin bilingual course (not sure about french, didn't take it). As a student, I recommend this school 100%

Being 14 years old and getting into fights with the creep shop teacher because he was hitting on young girls and arapping his arms around th wheneber he had the chance will forever live in my mind. Mr. Chummer should not be allowed back to that school and parents be warned that school has done nothing about his activity for quite sometime now.
