Evie Lipton Law Office

Trust is the major ingredient needed in a lawyer / client relationship. If you don’t have that then it’s pointless to continue with such lawyer. I have seizures and Evie Lipton alleged how she was “like me” in that she has seizures and takes meds every day to control them as I do. Then Evie Lipton after gaining the start of a trusting client lawyer relationship went about as appointed, to arrange for me to have a medical assessment.I was told such assessment was to be at a medical office however on the day of said assessment Lipton called alleging that the DR doing the assessment couldn’t do it at the said medical office as I wasn’t a patient. Instead Lipton alleged that Dr wrote this to her and, now this assessment was to occur at the Courthouse.Going to Court is stressful and I have seized 2x at the Courthouse. This Lipton knows. Having an assessment at the courthouse is not helping my stress and is in my opinion inappropriate. On top of that, Lipton copied and pasted a messsge she alleges was from the Dr indicating that a court staff member explain medical documents to me, give my history and I’m to give these confidential and private material to this court employee to be faxed back to Dr.This is rejected , the entire plan by Lipton and Dr.Absolute not!at the Courthouse and including a court staff member to play the role as a medical staff worker ( that was Lipton’s explanation). I rejected this idea as I have seized twice at courthouse as to stress at court. I said Absolutely not to her idea.Lipton couldn’t understand this as I felt badgered by her numerous texts and calls. Demands for me to explain more.When we went into Court to explain to the Judge why no assessment Lipton in my opinion , went into court and twisted and left things out to the Judge. Thus she has NO TRUST. Deservedly, Lipton lost my trustWhen asked by Judge what happened to the missing of the assessment at the Courthouse, Lipton even went so far as comparing a court employee to a Doctor’s medical staff and how this Court Employee was “playing” that same role as if he was a medical staff of a Doctor.I had also sent a letter well before Court as to how Lipton, in my opinion, from the scheme for that day’s assessment to be done at the Courthouse, her that day and ongoing badgering me and the tone she took with me caused me to have serious medical consequences.I asked Lipton to advise the Judge of what I had wrote in the email to her and Lipton did not.I tried to tell the Judge but was told that Lipton was to speak for me.Lipton had that letter and information and DID not tell the Judge.Initially when Lipton contacted me she alleged, “I understand as I started having seizures in law school…..”. Telling me she has to take meds she alleged. Well I feel how could she when she is trying to have me go to a courthouse to have an assessment which is wrong in my opinion, and to include a third party with my information that is private. I feel strong she was setting me up to fail and seize and possibly die from my next seizure. No thanks. Evie Lipton, you hurt me. You got me so upset and then continuing to badger me after I said no to your plan and to wait til Court. Then you twisted things as I wasn’t allowed to say all I needed to say. You disgust me.

I was involved in an incident in which I was charged with an assault and aggravated assault. It was a very unique case because of the circumstances involved and after a long drawn out case Ms. Lipton was able to get them to drop the charges. She was extremely communicative about everything throughout the processs and went above and beyond despite only getting the legal aid rate. Any unexpected costs that arose were brought up immediately and she did a good job at minimzing them. Would highly recommend.

It is extremely unfortunate that Lisa Joseph could not understand that 1) Ms Lipton tried to give Ms Joseph necessary emotional support to help her through lengthy and arduous court procedures, and 2) a physician's inability (or refusal - whichever the case may be) to complete Ms Joseph's medical assessment in his/her medical office was not within Ms. Lipton's control. Ms Lipton has very little time in her daily schedule to find mutually satisfactory solutions to any problem. Yet despite Ms Joseph's refusal to co-operate and provide necessary information to help her own case, Ms Lipton was obligated by judicial appointment to do her utmost best to successfully defend Ms Joseph in court. All medical information which Ms Joseph could have provided to a court person would have been treated with the upmost confidentiality as is required by any court. I suspect Ms Joseph has other undisclosed personal issues which exacerbated her negative reaction to Ms Lipton's request. Personally, I found Ms Lipton to be a truly compassionate woman and highly professional in her duties as a criminal defence lawyer. She defended my son from false assault charges which were laid by his estranged spouse - charges which were a foolish attempt to seriously discredit him so he would lose any and all access to his children. My son and I will always be grateful to Ms Lipton for her support and we'll definitely recommend her to anyone who may need an exceptional lawyer.

I can't thank or say enough about how Mrs Lipton took care of my case she is an excellent lawyer. She kept me up to date at every turn and helped me understand the process. If you need a criminal lawyer I doubt you will find anyone better give her a call you won't be disappointed.
