I tried Paleta ice cream for the first time in my life at PalettAmerica inside Hillcrest Mall on 27 December this year. At first I thought that they are just another type of those mass produced popsicles, but I was so wrong. It's mucho mejor than popsicles ! Since I'm diabetic, I was so delighted when I found a variety of no sugar Paletas offered, and I picked the no sugar Kiwi to start with. It's really delicious, and the employee was extremely friendly and enthusiastic with her work. I went to Hillcrest Mall again the next day to take pictures of the Christmas trees with my wife, and this time I tried the no sugar mango one. The employee was helpful, super friendly and all smiles. I felt like a tourist ! I think I will come back again and again to PalettAmerica because of the good taste, good quality and the warm service. The higher price is surely justified. Yes, these are $5 palettas/popsicles. Is that the cheapest popsicle ever? No. But we're talking handmade, small batch, specialty popsicles made with fresh ingredients, so I think it's justifiable. They're delivering during COVID too! I ordered half a dozen a few weeks ago and I've got one left. The only reason I have one and not none is because Dad refuses to eat condensed milk. Yep. They have a couple flavors of paletta with condensed milk centres. I don't know how they do it but the condensed milk doesn't freeze, so when you bite into your paletta, the condensed milk still oozes. It's magical.I've tried a whole bunch of flavors including oreo, peanut butter with reese cup, hazelnut with nutella, yogurt and berries, pistachio, strawberry, strawberry with condensed milk, passionfruit with condensed milk, and perhaps a few more I've forgotten. My favorites are the pistachio (super creamy, really nutty) and the hazelnut, I think. They're also Dad's favorites so that's a win too.Next on my list is their kitkat and all of their cheesecakes (dulce de leche, strawberry, there's one more but I'm forgetting it).

An ice cream/popsicle cart in the hall of Hillcrest Mall, amazing selection of flavours, a nice cool treat in the heat of shopping.

Best Paletta I've found in Ontario. Go check them out at Square One Mall. You won't regret it.

My family tried the Strawberry Cheesecake paletta at Celebration Sq. in Mississauga and we were extremely happy to find out that there is a base location...we will definitely be coming to Scarborough soon! They are absolutely amazing!
