I waltzed in with the vague idea of buying a dirt helmet, only to be greeted by Larry who helped me fit the proper helmet, within the right budget, ending with a conversation about bikes and life. Larry (the owner) made me feel welcome and treated me like a friend. Proof? He spontaneously offered to beat the prices from the online competition. Sadly I don't live in the area, but I would warmly recommend Larry and his crew for anyone who lives there.

Larry and James were really great, along with all the staff. They were able to find a handle bar for us on short notice and install to get us back our our road trip.Pricing was very good.The store has a large selection of riding clothes, gear, and parts. Quality gear.Servicing many makes of motorcycle in the area.Even if you are passing through, stop and check them out.

Larry and the crew were amazing. Was passing through the Thunder bay and needed my front tire rebalanced.Price was more than fair and service as good as anybody can hope. One of the friendliest shop I have ever visited.

Quality service, professional and extremely helpful team and competitive pricing. Wouldn't take my bike anywhere else in Thunder Bay. So many customers speak very highly of the owner. Lady I bought my bike from had mentioned him alot. How he treated her is why she purchased and serviced all their toys at Excalibur.

Bike shops are funny places… some of them are.. just ok. Others are fantastic. It’s about 60/20 fair to good. With another 20% being outstanding.Excalibur in Thunder Bay is outstanding. They know travelers. They are travelers. They understand how difficult and expensive it is to be stuck somewhere and need help. They put me at the front of the line. Could I have done it myself? Yes, of course. I would’ve had to buy tools and then post myself up in a parking lot and hope I didn’t need any other parts. Or break something. Also, while I can turn a wrench, I am not a bike mechanic. This little insight may have saved me some problems down the road because when the guys at Excalibur took the rear wheel off, they noticed that my cush drive was beat. I needed a new one and they happened to have one last one. It wasn’t in regular stock. A guy ordered it a year ago and never picked it up. He must’ve known I was coming.

I can't say enough about the service my wife and I received today,we were traveling across Canada on our goldwing when we had a valve stem fail us in Wawa we managed to get it to Excalibur motorcycle works in Thunderbay. Within a hour they had us back on the road, we would like to thank the entire staff..

So friendly and helpful! I was going to be strolling through town but was a bit nervous about my rear tire, the guys set one aside and when I arrived they got me sorted straight away and even offered me a discount on the tire! Way to go guys, you’ve earned my trust and respect. Thank you.
