Tina, Charlene, and Casey have all been very kind, courteous, professional, and efficient when helping me with auto insurance setup & renewals for our three cars. Even though ICBC has recently updated their system, the team at Harbord always do their best to navigate the details and provide the best service they can.

I have had an excellent experience with Harbord Insurance. Most recently, Jennifer was super helpful, following up with me multiple times when I got busy and forgot to phone back. I really appreciate the friendly service, and the effort made to ensure I get the insurance product I need.

We brought our car from out of province and Corrie helped us register and insure it here and she made it super easy and fun. Thanks again!

Recently had my first experience with Harbord. We bought a used car in the area and needed insurance to drive home. Kim L. helped us out, her customer service skills were excellent! Explained coverages well and answered questions thoroughly. Everyone in the office seemed friendly and the service was prompt and efficient :)

My rental property came up for renewal and the price was almost double so I called Maggie at Harbour and she looked at various options for me until she found one, which was a lot less than than my previous insurance was offering, but price was not the only factor. I liked that Maggie responded right away to my emails and concerns, which was amazing. Great customer service. Thanks. Erika

Two separate visits to Harbord Insurance (several weeks apart) to have them cancel the Autoplan policy on my recently deceased father's vehicle, both visits made with certified copy of death certificate, original copy of will (properly signed and witnessed), my father's driver's license as well as my driver's license (as named executor). Both visits to Harbord were unsuccessful in accomplishing this seemingly straightforward request, the first time I was told I needed the vehicle's plates to cancel (which are on the vehicle located in Quesnel so not easily accessible from Victoria), the second time their agent(s) got partway through assisting me but stopped because it was closing time. Note that I wasn't looking to transfer ownership of my father's vehicle, I was just looking to cancel the Autoplan policy so it's not costing his limited estate a monthly insurance premium for a vehicle that is parked (is in storage) and won't be dealt with until after probate. Harbord wasn't very helpful in getting this insurance cancelled, in fact on the 2nd visit they seemed to be more worried about getting out the door at their 5:30 p.m. closing time (I initially sat down with their agent at 5 p.m. so I arrived half an hour before closing) than providing service to a customer that needed some help. Was told that office policy is not to work past closing time (even 15 minutes?) Maybe I'm from a different generation, but I'll be looking elsewhere for my insurance needs, which is a shame since I have several of my own vehicles for which I had been using Harbord for Autoplan needs.

I've enjoyed working with Kim at Harbord Insurance. She is helpful, informative, quick to reply, and understands my requests and needs with insurance. I appreciate the transparency and honesty while not overselling me on things I don't need. The whole process has been easy and efficient.

The idea of any type of paperwork brings me to anxious tears. I called first just to find out what I needed to do with my first auto insurance in BC. A simple, patient, kind and professional experience that put me at ease for going into the office. As soon as I entered the office Annika welcomed me right over to her desk.
