Exceptional food matched only by the unparalled service. We celebrated our daughters champagne 13th birthday. From making the reservation with Bobby, to greeting us early the day of to let us set up the room, to the service led by Jorjo the day of and follow up afterwards.....incredible!!! We travel and eat out quite a bit and can confidentily say this was the best experience we have every had. The room was gorgeous - the 'family' at Zafferano (and they really did treat us like family) were generous enough to book us the private room. We had dedicated staff, a coat closet for our guests, separate tables set up for gifts, and for cake and some non-alcholic pink champagne (which my daugheter was trilled about because she really wanted to have a sip of champagne or her special champagne birthday - and the team made it such a special experience for her - beautiful champagne glasses, arranged beautifully and with such care on her cake table). I have never had a more attentive, professional, KIND & ATTENTIVE restaurant staff. Most are tooo attentive, and so professional that there is no genuine care...at Zafferano we really felt like we celebrated with the Zafferano 'family. We weren't rushed out the door (even though we were one of the last to leave), noone rushed us to get the bill or stood over us waiting for payment...Jorgo very discreetly pulled me aside and walked me through it. And we were so 'pampered' that Jorjo even saved one of the few special decorations/macaroons on my daughter's cake to place specifically on her piece of cake and my own - that's how much care he took and the attention he gave. None of our guests had ever been to the restaurant before. They were overly impressed, couldn't stop raving about the food and service....I think you'll be seeing alot more of them. Grazie Zafferano - you gave us full bellies and wonderful memories. One of my top favourite Italian restaurants in the area.My favourite dish would have to be the penne alla vodka which was served with the perfect amount of cream and pancetta.The evenings and weekends tend to get busy so make sure to call ahead and book a reservation.The owner and staff were pleasant and did an amazing job!

I was here to attend a friend’s wedding banquet. The location is easy to find, lots of parkings. The interior of the restaurant is pretty!! I liked the Calamari, it’s gigantic!! The Salmon I had that night was great! The Salmon was still very hot after sitting on my table for 5-10 mins, and it’s very tender inside, it’s amazing! I especially like the servers, because they are very attentive even in this 100 pple banquet!! They are smart to tell what you need from an eyesight!! I would like to come back to try their regular menus

Excellent steak, risotto was fine and the creme brule was good. The raspberry cheesecake did not appear to have fresh raspberries as the menu would suggest, but everything else was good

Great authentic Italian restaurant in Woodbridge. Very well known and for good reason! The food and ambiance are overall excellent.Quality of the ingredients are top notch, you can tell it’s all fresh. Love the flavours and would definitely come again!Nice place for a date night or special occasion !

Hosted my daughter's Bridal Shower recently and my guests had a wonderful experience! From the ambiance to the service, it was amazing! A big thank you to Leo for his incredible service. I have recommended Zafferano to friends and family for future events. Thank you again for making this experience extra special for my daughter ❤

We had 3 people waiting on us so everything came fast. Portions were large and everything was hot. The pasta was great and the calamari melted in your mouth. 10 people $600. $10 per person these days in a semi formal restaurant is pretty good.

Food was decent, nothing special. Service was super slow. We arrived at 7:30pm, we got our food at 9:40pm. Even to ask for a extra fork or a cup of ice took ages. Restaurant wasn't to busy on a Friday night, but to reflect on how slow the service was, you would think this place would be crazy busy with lineups out the door.

We just celebrated our sons 1st birthday with family and it was everything we hoped for and more.The restaurant has a great atmosphere, very clean and the private room (which we used) that was perfect.Mike and his staff (Giorgio, Leo, Dinardo and others as well) all did an incredible job answering to our guests requests and performing a wonderful service the entire evening.The food was and always is amazing!! Everything from the antipasto to the main and the entree was delicious and presented very eloquently. The biggest compliment was when all our guests messaged and called us in the days following to let us know just how much they loved the food and can't wait to go back.To Mike and everyone at Zafferano thank you for making this a wonderful and memorable day for our family. We can't wait to come back for more beautiful meals and many more beautiful celebrations.

Zafferano, an eatery we recently visited, left us thoroughly impressed. We savored their delightful antipasto misto, penne alla vodka, veal chop, calamari fritti, and polenta fries—all delicious! Our waiter, Giorgio, added a touch of humor to our dining experience. The communion celebration was a success, thanks to Mike's exceptional service and attention to detail, ensuring the mother and all guests were content. The eatery also accommodated the young ones with chicken fingers, fries, and pizza. Overall, I left Zafferano extremely satisfied.
