Times Change Women's Employment Service
I was laid off late last year because the company I worked for decided to close permanently. It was hard to get back on my feet on my own, so I signed up with other employment centres. But I have to say this is the one agency that made me feel most welcome and the staff are all encouraging and supportive especially to those who were in difficult situations like the one I found myself in. Now I am back in the saddle and I am thankful for those I have met along the way like the Times Change staff and helped me in whatever way they can. More success to them and the clients they serve!

Not all women get helped at Times Change. The job search workshop should have flexible hours but because they don't I didn't find them very helpful. If they were accommodating like they should be, I would have given them 5 stars.

Times Change Women's Employment Service
I'm currently taking the CAMP Program there. It's really helping me figure out my next step in my career. They have a reference section that has plenty of books and some computers for the students' use. Overall, the experience has been great and I highly recommend it.

I guess it's for all women? I didn't feel like they thought I needed their service. I'm white. I had been through a horrible metoo situation in a high profile workplace which I never disclosed NDA and felt really abandoned by the systems supposedly in place (tax dollar funded) for support. Unbelievable wait times for any of the programs at least for me. Never went back. Seemed really unorganized and unable to provide calendars for booking counselling appt ' s. etc. I guess they help some. And everybody says go to Times Change. Have they been there? Or just the system shuffling one off on to another.

This centre is amazing in providing all the information and service you require for your job search. I always get very helpful staff who direct me to the right service. I have not only used their services but have also directed colleagues and clients to this centre.

Service is great and employers and volunteers are very kind and helpful. but things are going very slow. For meeting a job developer you need to attend to some workshops and they hold once a month so you have to wait. After you need to wait for an information session that it is also once a month. I wish they can change this process.

Times Change Women's Employment Service
When I first moved to Toronto I visited a lot of employment centers to find work. I probably got the most out of this one. Job hunting as a woman presents its own specific difficulties, and I found this place the most equipped to address them.
