Saffron Street can thoroughly impress by both the authenticity of the cuisine and service. Bold Indian flavors and beautiful presentation. Their knowledgeable staff ensured that our meal was a memorable one, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our satisfaction. I can’t stop thinking about the food and for sure will be back!

Ate dosa and it’s the best dosa in Calgary. Bog quantity, fresh and amazing taste. First market hall is a nice place for a date evening. Lots of restaurants and such a beautiful place to enjoy the food and chats. Will definitely visit again.

Damn! Authentic Indian street food. Legit flavours like whoa. Super authentic dosa as well. Pav bhaji was bursting with flavours. No regrets! Located in first street market.

Very few Indian restaurants offer street food (chaat) this good. As someone who’s always on the lookout for good food, this place was amazing. Ordered the chhole bhature (as shown in the photo - fried bread made of fermented flour next to chickpea curry) and was just amazed. Flavours, texture, spice levels and the amount were just right. Add to this mouth watering dish, a can of Limca (a lemon lime variant of Sprite) - this is sure to hit the spot.

Was in town briefly, wanted to find an interesting food option. Saffron and the FSM *certainly* fit the bill. I had the samosa chaat and the paneer makhani. Each were outrageously delicious, very flavorful and complex. Friendly and prompt service too. Highly recommended!

This restaurant serves delicious food. We had pav bhaji and Chole bhature. The flavors are spot on and the portions are generous. A good place to go. Highly recommend!

This is a good place to hangout with friends or savour food solo. Located within a premise having multiple stalls for different cuisine. Good quality is maintained well. Taste is 10/10. Small place with limited items to select from but whatever they serve is of great taste.
