Canoeing The Grand
Incredible experience! My boyfriend and I did the 2.5 hour trip and it was amazing. Not only were the scenery and weather incredible, but the service that Shelly and Pat provided were beyond outstanding. They are so friendly and courteous. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!! Best place to kayak in the tri-city area.

Canoeing The Grand
We went as a family and it was just a wonderful experience. We took the long trail and it was a perfect day. Not only did we see the first green on the trees, we also saw geese, a snake, turtles, otter, birds including an eagle and a bird catching a fish just next to us. Rounding it all up with small stops along the side to take a little bite. Just a perfect day. The boats were great, absolutely to recommend!!

Canoeing The Grand
The kids and I took hubby there for Father's Day this year and wow what a great day it was.. we were there by 11am and all settled on the water by 11:30.. they even handed out a small Father's day gift to the guys.. we loved seeing the turtles and birds and what my kids think was an otter.. The fact we are shuttled to the start and end up back at the cars and can head right home after is perfect... Thank you for such a great experience we will be back many times this Summer. Staff were young energetic and friendly.

We had an amazing time and will definitely be going again. The staff is very kind. I highly recommend for anyone who loves spending time outside and needs something new to try. The river is great for beginners and it is very peaceful. Thanks again to everyone at canoeing the grand for the wonderful experience.

Canoeing The Grand
Went Canoeing on the Grand for the first time with work colleagues. We had an amazing day. Weather was perfect. We enjoyed seeing multiple blue heron, geese, ducks, and a baby raccoon. Shelly and her staff we very accommodating and friendly. They are organised and informative, helping us first timers know what to expect and what to look for when coming to the finish line. Would definitely do this again with work or with family and friends. Great experience!

Canoeing The Grand
Great experience especially if you’re new to kayaking. I called a day before to book a double kayak for my partner and I. The booking process went smoothly. We showed up 15 minutes early, met the owner, and were swiftly provided with our equipment. We did the Breslau trip that’s supposed to take around 2 hours. The River was calm with a couple of shallow spots where your boat may get stuck. Since I was wearing water shoes, I just got out and simply pushed the kayak to deeper water. Overall, it was a fun and relaxing experience! Lots of wildlife to see as well. We will be coming back and trying out longer route.

I can’t recommend this place enough. They are so nice and helpful, but also give you a lot of independence which is great. We went on a day where it rained the entire time and it was super fun, relaxing and pretty. If it rains on the day you want to go, don’t cancel! Definitely going back again before the summer is done.
