Wonderful Beginnings Early Years

This Daycare is great. My daughter has been going here since they opened and she absolutely loves it. The staff are great and patient with all the kids trying to meet everyone's needs. This is hard when you are trying to please so many kids at the same time. We get daily pictures for our child having fun and play with others. While there is no outside space at the center, they make daily trips to the park just down the road when the weather conditions allow.(which is most days). My daughter absolutely loves being outside and looks forward to the park ever day, even if it is a cold. We just dress her for the weather. I would highly recommend this daycare for anyone seeking child care. (if there is a spot).

My son is no longer going to this daycare.During the last 4 months, the Program saw many transitions and changes in policy and it no longer remained for an individual kiddo- it was more like ushering all the kids through the daily schedule irrespective of the pace and needs of each child which was our sole and primary expectation. The daycare rules and policies kept changing every few days without much of an explanation to us as parents. There were certain things that we clarified beforehand with the owner which were non- negotiable for us and in spite of giving their word, with time, like horror, each of those fears came true. Since we juggle 4 jobs between me and my wife along with trying to get through our educational certification in order to get back to our original career paths as immigrants in a new country, we wanted to ensure that we spend enough quality time each day with our only child, we had requested for a flexible drop off timing and at the time of joining, owner had assured us that she would accommodate that. Not even 2 months after we started, this wasn't being accommodated with. There were a few occasions where my kid was sent back with tears from the daycare for a mere delay of 3-5 minutes. In freezing spells at temperatures way below and immediately after freezing spells, the kids were taken for the morning walks even though the child would refuse because it was too slippery for them (heard multiple accounts from other parents about this). When we gave our notice of withdrawal, the daycare was owing a significant amount and when asked about the break-up of the refund amount which did not match with the amount calculated by us (there was a difference of about $100), words like the amount will be donated to"/ "we will give this extra money since we want this matter to end immediately" were used. Word “donation” was used again and again by the owner despite of us asking for clarification multiple times. I have tried my best to give an honest account of our side of things and how it changed for us over time. Hope it is helpful."

This place is truly wonderful. Our daughter is very shy but absolutely loves going to hang out with Miss Liz, Miss Alyssa and her friends. The atmosphere is so welcoming and cozy, and the space so well thought out with room for the kids to play individually or in groups. The smaller setting is perfect for our daughter and we couldn't be happier with the care she is getting there. We get many updates every day and when it's time to pick up our daughter, she just wants to stay and have more fun :)
