During a recent road trip to Moncton with my family, our car suddenly displayed the dreaded engine light, which instantly caused worry and concern. Thankfully, we stumbled upon Midas Auto Repair Shop, and I must say that their exceptional service and timely assistance turned a potentially stressful situation into a seamless experience.Upon entering the shop, I was immediately greeted by Amy, a friendly and knowledgeable staff member. Despite not having a prior appointment, she kindly fit me into their busy schedule and ensured that my car received immediate attention. Her willingness to accommodate me, even during a busy day, left a lasting positive impression.Upon taking the car in for repair, I had the pleasure of meeting Yugh, he initially told me that we will be able to make it to Sydney,NS, if the engine light is not blinking but as soon as we took off to the highway it started blinking and we had to come back. Yugh and Amy empathised our situation, esp with the young kid, and assigned a skilled technician who promptly began diagnosing the issue. Yugh's expertise and professionalism were evident as he efficiently pinpointed the cause of the engine light. He explained the problem in a clear and concise manner, making sure I understood the necessary repairs.Not only did they swiftly identify the issue, but they also ensured that the necessary repairs were carried out promptly. The mechanics at Midas worked diligently to rectify the problem and get my car back on the road as soon as possible. I greatly appreciated their efficiency and dedication to resolving the issue in a timely manner, allowing us to continue our journey without significant disruption.Another aspect that impressed me was the reasonable charge for the repair services provided. Midas Auto Repair Shop offered transparent and fair pricing, ensuring that I felt comfortable with the cost involved.I'm writing this review on my second visit to Midas, waiting at the lobby on a last minute one hour before the closing time visit. This time, my 11 year old Ford Focus rear shock broke off. Amy took the car in and is getting it done as I write this.Overall, my experience with Midas Auto Repair Shop was outstanding. Amy's willingness to accommodate me, Yugh's expertise in diagnosing and repairing the car promptly, and the reasonable charges all contributed to a positive experience. I highly recommend Midas to anyone in need of automotive repair services, as their exceptional service and customer care will undoubtedly exceed your expectations.

Amy Tingley is the best in the business. She was able to find parts needed for my vehicle quickly and best price! Thank you so much. What a load off my shoulders. You have a fantastic attitude a real go getter! We need more just like you.

Busy with Christmas preparations, I discovered a flat tire. My car dealer couldn’t see me for at least 2 weeks so I called the one place that I’ve had excellent service with in the past. They graciously fit me in to their busy schedule & fixed my punctured tire quickly & efficiently. I greatly appreciate their prompt service.

Great service at a resonable price! They got me in quick as a bunny and back on the road. The fellas in the garage are awesome!

I went for oil change service. I had the promotion of 69.99 for synthetic oil change. While booking appointment on phone, I confirmed the promotion and given my car model and year. I was given assurance that only extra charges will be environmental fees. On the appointment day, my car was taken for oil change after 45 minutes. They showed me that oil is leaking. It was good that they proactively shows customer everything. After my confirmation they went ahead with oil change. In the end, I got bill of 162 CAD. The explanation from Midas was, my oil was different than the promotion package and hence the regular oil change price was applied along with 52 CAD as labour cost. I am sorry but I am not going to Midas anymore nor I recommend. On phone I have given make and model along with year of my car so Midas can confirm upfront that I am going to get charged 162. You had second chance to confirm the same while you started oil change. Unfortunately Midas didn’t conveyed the same. They might have assumed it is ok to charge. They might be good in servicing but they missed communication. Sorry Midas, there will be no from my end for the future. The reception area is really good though and it had a lively environment.Update 13-Jun-2023:I have been contacted by the Owner Yug upon seeing my review. He took complete responsibility and took necessary actions to improve the process for the future. He honoured Midas original price which I agreed during the appointment booking and I have been compensated back for the extra amount.Based on the whole incident I can see that Midas is taking such issues seriously and they genuinely trying to learn from the mistakes. They really want their customer happy. I will for sure visit them again as I can trust them now.

The staff at midas on mountian road are the best in the business. If your vehicle needs any kind of service, repair, or estimate, this is the place to take it. I have been bringing my vehicles here for almost 10 years now and they are fantastic to deal with. Amy is always friendly, helpful, and honest and I can always trust that no matter what service or repair my vehicle needs, the techs will always do a great job.

Midas switched off our winter tires and installed the summer tires on rims. The balancing was perfect. We drove down to the cottage that afternoon and the car drove so very smooth. Friendly accommodating staff who will go above and beyond to provide you the correct service. My appointment was for 8:00 am and the car was up on the joist at that time! The mechanic noticed that one of the aluminum heat shields was out of place and fixed the issue by using larger rubber gaskets. Very impressive. The waiting room is currently under renovation, but when it is completed it will be very comfortable and tidy. Strongly recommend this Midas dealership!

Friendly staff, was scheduled for 13:30 and they took our car around 14:20, the maintenance wasn't very long and we were out by 15:00.The mechanics are very skilled and the price is reasonable too, they will tell you anything that is wrong with the vehicle but won't try to upcharge you, they give you the choice and won't push on it.Will come back again soon, I recommend to everyone who wants a fair and reasonably priced repair.
