Great little place to grab donuts. Coffee is not the best but I guess that’s it’s charm. Lovely staff also !

It's okay, a little dated, but there's always people at this very local coffee shop. Doughnuts are a little dry and not very sweet, so probably more healthy than at other places, I guess it depends on your preferences. Prices are good, similar to Tim's, service was okay. Sufficient seating indoors, plenty of parking on the plaza.

The food is fresh and made in front of you. The coffee was very nice. The owner/server was a sweet lady, greeted us with a smile. The prices are decent. Indoor seating was available.

Great place to grab a coffee and baked goods.I come here regularly and always enjoy what they're serving.I often get their iced coffees. If you like it sweet, then you'll enjoy it here as well. You need to come here in the morning if you want any of the donuts or other baked goods. By afternoon you won't find much. The prices are as expected for a mom and pop shop, but the other day they charged me 70 cents for ice in a cup.Apart from that, I love Donut Counter and always try to stop by if I'm in the area.

I went to the Donut Counter to pick up, well, Donuts! The place is rather small with limited seating inside and outside. Both of my journeys to this place has observed that the seating capacity is normally full. The place is also under high demand so if one comes towards the end of the day, it may not be possible to find a variety of donuts. So better come early! The donuts themselves are affordable, at a dollar each. There are a great variety (if you come before the rush towards the day's end) their taste is acceptable.

They're like the old school donuts we used to get from donut shops as a kid, minus the cigarette stink. I think they make them fresh there. None of that Tim Hortons garbage.I went again after all these years and the service is really nice there and the staff are nice.Got 6 donuts.Boston Cream: pretty good. Appears to be actual cream, pretty fluffy, not too sweet, just rightvanilla dip sprinkle: what you would expect. Fluffy and sweetcrueller: it's really fluffy but it's not sweet enough, tastes rather eggy. I would pass on this one. Texture also isn't greatChocolate donut: not sweet enough but texture goodPlain dipped: fluffy but not sweet enoughLemon filled: a bit sour for my taste. Could be sweeterWas about $8 for a half dozen

They make their donuts fresh every day and many are sold out fast. Go early if you want more choices. I really like their cakey donuts - toasted coconut chocolate and cruellers are really good. Very soft and tender with crunchy bits. Flavours are very mild so I can really taste the dough. The yeasty donuts are a bit too dry and dense for my taste. I like them soft and fluffy. The flavours are pretty good. Mild and not too sweet. The only one I don't like is the French crueller. It's definitely dry and bland even though there is a nice custard taste. It needs more syrup and probably more egg yolk in the batter. Overall much better donuts than Timmy's and great price.

Serious nostalgia trip. They had doughnuts here I hadn't seen in something like 20 years. I bought a couple, just because. Definitely reminded me of what coffee shops used to look like and offer before the chains closed the small ones down. Will come again.
