Fun for a night out and use your creativity on a canvas. If you enjoy art then this is for you. If you are not an artsy person, the instructor can help you create their sample piece. You will be surprised what you can do! :)

If I could come here weekly I would! The atmosphere is creative and classy. There are so many wonderful events and reasons to go to Canvas an Cabernet. Great service. So many amazing wines. There are so many beautiful pieces of art to paint and it’s such a joyful atmosphere! One of the best lounge and wine-art experiences in Downtown Barrie. Parking is ok; there is a city parkade about a block northwest.

So, I love coming to Canvas and Cabernet. Super not artsy, but still my paintings turned out great, and, even more importantly, our entire group had a great time (both times we’ve been). Jennifer was our instructor for both evenings, and she was so nice. She took the time to explain what we needed to do, and then what we needed to do next, to make our paintings a success. Very helpful with hints to either make your painting look more like the sample, or ways to individualize it a little bit. The atmosphere is nice and chill, and the music selection was on point. Thank you for making our visits there wonderful!

Best charcuterie board in town. Good wine. Great service. I don't do the painting classes but they are always packed. The owner is great and super friendly. Good place to come and nosh and chill out.

Its a great idea for date night. We drank wine and focused maybe a little too much on our painting but overall it was a memorable experience.Staff was really friendly.

Great staff, nice looking bar and studio area, good wines and great times! We have gone for date nights, birthday celebrations and just to relax and unwind. Hand picking jazz classic rock and indie records to set the mood, and paint the night away.

Great place, great ambiance. We did a paint class here, so much fun! The lessons were well done and took you step by step to create a beautiful piece of art. The wine and charcuterie board were great too! Great service!

My friend invited me here out if he blue, I am not artsy at all and I had an amazing time. All the staff are super helpful and great at what they do. Had an amazing night painting!
