Woodburner Leisure Living Centre

I contacted The Woodburner Leisure Centre in Kitchener to inquire about replacement baffles that lined the upper area inside the wood stove. The person I spoke with informed me that they would cost approx. $75.00 and I provided my credit card # for the deposit. About a week later, she called and advised me they are not $75 but $125.00. I stated I would like to cancel the order at that price and look around.Recently, while reviewing my credit card statement, I noticed I was charged the full $125 plus tax for these baffles and received NO product.In addition to all this, I contacted a wood stove retailer near Peterborough and was advised these inside baffles are covered under a lifetime warranty. I had them ordered and installed in my wood stove in about 3 weeks with no charge.I will be reluctant to provide my credit in the future to other stores. Will not be dealing with The Woodburner, they did refund my money and apologized. The sales rep clearly didn't know the warranty coverage, especially when I mention I bought the stove there 7 years ago.

Brutal service! They don't follow up.

I bought glass gasket for my fireplace in this store. Sales person convinced me that it's good and for 20 years they sell it without any problem. After installation, problem began. around 10-15 min noxious fumes began to fill my house. I called back and ask about it. First response we don't know, we didn't have any problem before????. Then, technician call me to tell that they never had anything like this. He suggests to clean glass with their stuff or technician come to my house for 119$ to identify the problem . I have had my fireplace for 15 years and never had this problem like this. finally I get refund, but spend half a day to clean glass form sticky substance left by gasket. I bought a new gasket in Mississauga and I'm happy now.
