I have been shopping at this location since it opened. Overall I enjoy shopping here. I have one major concern that I literally see almost everytime I shop. I like to get fresh bread,unfortunately the employees n the bakery have a false sense of food safety because they are wearing gloves. What they don't understand is that while gloves may protect them , touching their face, their hair(net) their ears , removing glasses and putting them back on, grabbing boxes ,racks ,wiping their hands on their aprons then handing my ready to eat bread with those gloves is not acceptable.I have confirmed with the manager on more than one occasion that employees should put fresh gloves on before handling ready to eat food. That this is your policy. Yet I have to ask your staff to change their gloves before handing my ready to eat food almost every time I get bread.It is awkward having to ask for this. I have had all kinds of responses from yes no problem" to" well I was just handing bread over there" to strange looks. I hate having to explain why I want them to change their gloves .What exactly is your glove policy when handing ready to eat food?If your staff are not required to change gloves when going from decorating / baking area to handling my bread

I had to edit this reviewThis location has now installed self check out kiosks. I am disgusted to see this. Longos is not a no frill store, nor is it priced like one. To me it was a community grocery store. Cutting jobs and installing self check machines is horrible. This is no longer my favourite store. This wad probably my favourite grocery store out of 3 different cities. It is large enough to have good choice, but not overwhelming and doesnt try to be a department store. Good customer service, they work at having an appropriate number of cashiers on staff and don't try to force you into a self check out. Just a good overall grocery store and those are difficult to come by these days.

Very disappointed that Longo's would involve politics and selling food!!! Donating to organizations that promote the mutilation of our children! Shame on you!!

Clean, well stocked store. Pleasant, helpful Employees. Wide range of quality prepared meal offerings. Great butcher shop & Fish Monger. New self checkout section, takes out 4 cashier stations. Myopic decision in my experienced view. Long lines to be served by a personable human beings. Profits before service.

Either need more training or less laziness at the cashier. Bought some gift cards with my groceries and I had changed my mind on one of the gift cards prior to paying, I asked Farheen to cancel one of them and she told me it is not possible. At which point I should just have not paid. Silly me paid and then questioned it as I walked out of the store as to why it's not possible when I have not even paid yet. I went back in and the girls at CS desk confirmed it is possible to cancel prior to customers paying for gift cards. Farheen from across the end of the cashiers lanes overhead and said I asked her after paying...but I told her to review the cameras to help with her memory. Disappointing experience.

barista isn’t wearing proper hair net, and was fairly rude :( probably a rough day but we all have them

I requested a special cake for my sister's retirement party. I spoke to a couple young ladies, and I spoke to Nicole, they were all so lovely. I came in a couple of times to make sure my vision" was understood

Very impressed by this Longo's. Enormous store with plenty of staff. Store is very well kept and organized. One of the best I have ever been to. Thanks.
