I started working for this company in the fall of 2019 as a DZ Driver running out of their Vaughn Distribution Facility.My role as a Night Shift Transfer driver had me delivering product internally to several branches including Kitchener, Guelph, Brantford and Burlington,I was constructively dismissed during the early stages of Covid (April 2020) after reporting health and safety concerns to the branch manager regarding the cleanliness or lack there of, in the workplace.The management team exercises very poor communication skills to it's drivers, and the person responsible for the truck fleet is a hot head who doesn't understand the term 'Preventative Maintenance'. Trucks running over km's for service, poorly maintained, no sense of pride or ownership, if you speak up and say something they will lay you off and just hire someone else. Very high turn over rate for pickers and warehouse staff, poor working atmosphere, low energy,The pay is decent with lots of overtime, but to be honest the company is not recommended. The management team does not care about you. I was laid off in the parking lot next to my car, the same day I had a meeting with management to talk about Health and Safety issues. There is a clause in your employment contract which allows them to lay you off at anytime, without consequence.

If you don't wanna do business with contractors, this is the way you do the business. Your company trukc parks at the door No.1 and the driver is gone. I can't get my unit because your truck blocked the way. Asked someone to move. Well...15 minutes long. I had nobody came back.

Great service! Recently, we were contacted by a homeowner who had no heat and needed an emergency part on a Saturday long weekend when all suppliers were closed. Firoj, at Mark's Supply, went beyond the call of duty that Saturday, located the part and delivered it to our technician within a couple of hours.
