Timeless Cottages

Amazing place! One of the cheapest cottages around we could find, owners are so friendly and welcoming. The water isn't the greatest for similarities, lots of weeds, but perfect for going for kayaking or canoeing on the water, which I believe it's free to use. Gorgeous views because the land is up high from the water. Air and Water cabin are the best in my opinion to wake up to beautiful views of the water and rising sun! Water cabin doesn't have air conditioning but it's pretty breezy with the windows open. Air cabin has air conditioning and works well. They did amazing jobs renovating these cabins, and I love how each cabin has their own sitting area with either chairs and picnic table or table and chairs and each has it's own fire pit. My husband and I and our friends will definitely be coming back and hopefully can make it a once every summer type thing. Highly recommend!

It's ok. No WiFi at all. The place is easy to find and the views from the lake is stunning. Included are the kayak and life jacket which can be used till 9 pm. I mean you're going there for a time off so you might as well turn off the phone... you can use your data from your phone provider. A/C is only in the living room and kitchen none on bedrooms... gets warm during day time so bring your fan. Must be good during fall.

Haven't had the pleasure of visiting the cottages just yet. But spoke online with them and they were amazingly responsive even over a holiday weekend. Provided answers for everything I needed and even uploaded a video right away for me to view one of the cottages. Prices look very reasonable, and although we were unable to finalize a cottage trip on our end, I wanted to leave a review to note how helpful and wonderful the customer service was!

Took my friends out for a scenic getaway from the city. Timeless cottages a picturesque fishing resort 15 mins from Peterborough.We booked 2 cottages facing Rice lake. The resort is newly renovated and features 6 fully furnished cottages.We had amazing fun canoeing, kayaking and boating. The resort is quite and peaceful, and has an amazing view of rice lake.Perfect for fishing trips or a relaxing break from the city. I would highly recommend it.

Loved the time spent here. The rooms are exceptionally well maintained and seem new. They have pretty much all the kitchen accessories, A/C, grill for each cottage. Of the 6 cottages, all are spacious and varied between 2-4 rooms. They have one fishing boat, kayaks, and canoes. Josh, Nina and Brian are very apt in responding and readily available if needed. Overall, I would definitely recommend it..

No swimming at all. Water has too much weeds. If your into fishing this is the place to go. The actual set up of the cabins is nice. Decent privacy for most of the cabins.The cabins are a little run down although they were renovated recently. Bed and bedding are comfy and appear to be new. Wifi was great for the most part. No management on site except for 2 to 3 hours when there is 1 guy that does what he needs to do- the on-site store" is manned for those periods of time only so if you want ice cream or buy wood/worm or anything store related

Such an Amazing little getaway for our family! We didn’t want to leave.Timeless Cottages is located on Rice Lake. The lake is mainly used for fishing but if you drive over to Lakeview, there is a nice beach for kids there. The “beach” at timeless cottages is great for catching frogs and exploring the water for tiny fish.The cottages themselves are very clean and it’s very apparent that a lot of work has been put into each cabin/cottage to make them feel more modern. Each unit has their own fire pit and BBQ as well as a deck. Kitchens are equip with all the basics you need and fridge was nice and large to hold all our food.Property has a little park for kids to play, the sand is seemingly clean and fresh.There is a lot to do with kids around the area. There are also many places to rent boats although the cottages do come with kayaks, canoes and even a small fishing boat that is for anyone to use.They have a boat shed filled with life jackets, some floaties, paddles and even some water skis!We had so much fun here my kids are already begging to go back.

Location is great. And a great spot for fishing. But the cottages definitely need maintenance. We had 1 window pane missing, there were nails sticking out of outdoor benches, the patio chairs were broken and the washrooms were so cramped that a big guy wouldn't fit in there. On the positive side, we had access to the lake and canoes were available for use.
