I've been dancing at Yunik Dance for several years now and can easily say it has been one of the greatest dance experiences that I've ever had. Yun is a fantastic teacher and offers a variety of K-Pop classes. She works really well with beginners but she also has many opportunities for more advanced dancers too. I highly, highly recommend her drop-in classes for dancers of any level and I especially recommend her video projects for anyone looking to do a progressive style class.

Wonderful environment!! Great learning experience and as a SUPER NEW BEGINNER, I found the choreo fun and easy to follow despite not knowing much about dance in general. The instructor always asks us if we have questions before we move on to the next section of song! Highly recommend this place if you want to pick up dance :)

I just wanna clear things up from that 1 star review, first of all, she has her introductions all on her Instagram and sign up website so it's pretty hard to miss! So please feel free to check her Instagram out in her story highlights and click into the her introductions on her website before you sign up for a class! In terms of the classes not beign begginer friendly, on the registration site, it will indicate if a dance is beginner friendly or not with the 3 ***" next to the class name

Yun is very friendly, kind and is overall a wonderful kpop dance instructor. Her pricing isn't too expensive either for $20/hr! I recommend taking her classes if you are a beginner. As far as I know, she teaches kpop basics as well as video projects if you're looking to improve and make new friends! Love the vibes and her way of teaching :) 10/10

Yunik dance is the best! I just started taking classes at the end of February and have been in love with Yun’s classes. She’s a great teacher and everyone who takes class are so welcoming!

Yun is the best instructor i could ask for, she’s friendly, kind, and always welcomes new students with open arms. She always tries her best to make sure everyone is remembering and doing the choreography right. I don’t have the best memory but i’m starting to do better at dances and remembering them because of her amazing teaching. She teaches all these dances by HERSELF which must be so tiring for her and she works hard to make us do our best during her classes.

Love this studio so much especially the video projects!! Yun is a really thorough and patient instructor who’s not only great at dancing but also excellent at teaching different levels. Every class comes with detailed breakdown of the movements and lots of practice, which help beginners to pick up.Location is right at Yaletown, convenient for transit.Highly recommend!

I was wanting to find a dance studio where I can dance to my favorite kpop songs and Yunik happened to be the first one that popped up! After my first class, I was immediately hooked! The community is awesome and it's always fun learning your favorite choreography! Yun is a fantastic teacher that explains each step in great detail! I wasn't confident in my dancing but I feel it growing everytime I go to Yunik :) Thank you, Yun!
