We have used British Empire for heating system repair, heating system maintenance,tankless water heater supply and install, thermostat repair and propane supply. All services have been complete in a timely manner and to our complete satisfaction.

A worry free plan has them fill my tank every 3 weeks during the winter making sure my pipes don't freeze from running out of propane. I was also allowed to lock in a competitive price for propane for the season. Top notch service.

We have been customers of BEF for many many years and appreciate their service and allows us to support a local business. We also purchase our propane from them and their prices are always great. The people in the office are very thorough and get the requests completed quickly.

British Empire is very responsive and reliable. They provide our propane and we purchased an air conditioner from them and they do our furnace maintenance. Their service is excellent.

they where prompt in the delivery of propane and the driver done as he was asked to call ahead of arrival due to dog being loose... we appreciate this courtesy and thank the wonderful personnel we deal with each heating season... thanks again for the service and remain as customers Faye and Garry McCabe

Excellent technicians and the office is very responsive.As a retired general contractor of hotels and apartments, I have an appreciation of the rarity of professional technicians and trades.British Empire has been called for misc repairs on my home on approx 4 occasions over the last 5 years and every time even with different technicians, the experience was great.

We used British Empire to hook up our generator. The location was a bit out of the ordinary but the Tech was amazing and made it work. Always very helpful and professional. Great Company.

Regardless of the need - tank refill, an issue, questions, cleaning the tank, furnace repair, whatever, in the 10 years we’ve been a customer, the team at BEF go out of their way to assist and resolve any issue or concern we have! We moved location in Bobcaygeon and overlapped locations for the month of January in getting propane. The BEF office was able to keep this correct in their books, in deliveries, in my mind and bank account. They did very well in explaining it and helping with our move. Thanks. Walter

Bad choice for propane supply. They increased their tank rental costs, 420lb tank is now $250/yr. They will say they charge market rates, but they do not. Bryans' Propane (Orangeville) charges $90/yr for the same tank AND the rental price is fixed for the life of the tank. Locally, Budget propane charges $150/yr. While it's well within their rights to increase these fees, notifying customers only at the time of renewal is shady business. They increased their rates in Sep 2022 and I was notified in May 2023. Had I known, I would have switched providers earlier, but I will absolutely be switching when my tank reaches 20% (the maximum they will refund you for on tank return). Shop around, these folks are gouging their clients.
