NAPA Calgary Douglasdale

Tidy store but I've never been inside a Napa store before. Went for a cabin air filter for a Sorento. Nice guy behind the counter. We shared some pleasant banter. He wasn't condescending at all (which some men can be with women in car parts stores) nor did he try to up sell me on a more expensive product. I was completely satisfied with the experience.

Basic question.Hard to answer.All I asked was if they could order a part, easy, a block heater cord.Turned out that's to hard.Customer service fail.

The Assistant Manager was compassionate and understanding when I brought a part back in for a return. I had purchased the wrong part and a family member ripped the entire bag before we noticed. Regardless the Assistant Manager took the part back and gave me a full refund! These guys are the go to for your auto part needs. Very knowledgeable staff and excellent service.

They were quick, helpful and had a 10% discount for AMA members.

This location has always been good to me. Unfortunately this time around I was stuck out of town in the middle of nowhere with a dead alternator the closest napas were both closed for the holidays and regardless I had no means of transportation. Since my wife had to drive all the way to get me, I had her grab my tools and sent her to get me an alternator and a battery just incase, after removing the dead alternator opened the new one and realized one of these were not like the other lol. We were sold the correct part but got the wrong one, simple human error but very inconvenient in this circumstance as it's a 6hr round trip and a tank of fuel so instead of making the one trip and drive both vehicles back we now have to make a second trip. On the bright side we were able to make it back to town just in time to return the items and get the correct one. So aside from the Mild inconvenience, I appreciate the effort from the first guy and the help from the 2 gentlemen for staying a bit late to finish up the transaction. So at least I will be able to finish it up when I go back.

Wow rude on the phone. A lady answered the phone, apparently customer service doesn't exist when you are so incredibly busy gess don't say bye or have a great day, instead sound miserable on the phone and and say yeah and hang up on me. Good job Napa on training your staff on customer service skills. I'll be sure not to buy from your store nor recommend anyone to come to your location.

Great service from Doug. Great availability of parts I need

Sold my wife a remanufactured alternator when my she specifically asked for a new one. The sales rep Braxton said it was only cheaper cause it was on sale. Now 2 years later it has died and she showed me her invoice and they indeed sold her a remanufactured one. We now have to buy another alternator and install it all over again.

Horrible parts exchange need manager authorization and if he’s not there you have to wait for him, unfortunately some people don’t have all day when a manager isn’t around to get things done.
