Pet Valu

1 staff member was very snotty, I was having trouble getting my dog into the bath tub and I went on the stairs and she told me I couldn't be on the stairs, I found the way she said it was very snotty. I will not be going to Pet Valu in Petawawa anymore.

Love this place and the staff! They're always friendly and helpful, and when I bring my dog in they always greet him and play with him and usually offer him a treat. (PS He loves it here too! He knows where he is as soon as we drive into the parking lot and gets excited!)

Good selection, staff not so attentive. The last two visits I walked in and the 3 sales associates were chatting and did not acknowledge me until it came time to cash me out. My most recent visit they had offered woman ahead of me to sign up for their loyalty program but did not offer it to me upon my check out. There are a few other local pet supply stores that I will now frequent as opposed to feeling undervalued at this establishment.

The best part about this pet store is the DOG WASH!I tried this recently for our 2 Boston Terriers. For only $10.00 per dog, you have a comfortable washing station, dog shampoo/conditioner and towels and there's no clean up in your own bathroom!They have a wash card too where you get 1 wash free after 5 or 6, I can't remember.They store is clean, stocked with high quality items and food. Awesome customer service.

Always has everything I need for my cats. Lots of toys and catnip, food selection very different from other stores.

Lacey is always friendly, and is super knowledgeable! She always has perfect suggestions for my furbabies needs. Thank you ♥️

Great staff, good selection clean store. Strange that staff just stand behind desk, say hi which is great but rarely offer help. Once asked they are on it

I've gone into this pet value quite a few times since moving to Petawawa. MOST of the staff are wonderful to deal with and very helpful. There was a few times I had went in and felt completely disrespected by one staff member in particular. The first time it happened I thought maybe she's just having a rough day; however it happens every time I go in. I have since found out that this person is the assistant manager! Rude to customers, acts like it's a chore to help you, not to mention I've heard her be rude to the other staff, and my neighbors had the exact same experience. HIGHLY unprofessional and if I was the owner of that store I would be hiring a new assistant manager. I will no longer shop at this establishment.

It's the third time we go there, once to buy a toy, the next two times to use the dog wash station. It is very handy and the equipment is fine but the personnel is rude and non-chalant. They act as if you were doing something terrible by using the service that they provide. First couple of times we thought it was only a couple employees having a bad day but 3 times in a row it's clearly just the general attitude of the store. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone whatsoever.
