CDC is such positive and safe space for my son to express himself fully! He has really found himself in dance and is able to explore different styles feeling confident that yes boys dance too! Thanks to CDC my son has learned discipline, perseverance, accountability and not to mention the coolest moves ever! The instruction from Miss Kelsey, Miss Ally, Miss Sophie, Miss Sara and Miss Melanie is unsurpassed. They are not just talented teachers but they are loving , supportive and caring. Everyone here - They are family.

CDC is such a welcoming studio where all kids can feel included and loved as an individual as well as a dancer. The atmosphere is so positive and fun!! CDC is such a great place for growth and development.

This is my daughters first time taking dance and she’s enjoying it. She’s in hip hop and loves the new moves she is learning. Teachers/staff are all friendly, patient and make it fun !

After being at two different studios in this city, one I personally danced at for 15 years, we came to CDC for a summer session. Needless to say, we haven’t turned back. Not only has my daughter progressed in dance physically, but socially. It has helped her in so many other aspects of life as well. You can tell how invested and how much the instructors truly LOVE what they’re doing. Always smiling, having fun, and most of all, encouraging. It truly is a dance family here.

Everything I say is from my own personal experiences and In my opinion - Don’t go here. The director is a bully. I removed my kids due to how she made me feel unsafe and has tacked on ridiculous fees - if I left because of my own personal reasons I could understand paying the fee. She has sent it to collections after emailing me after I told her not to since her daily emails were borderline harassment. She emailed from a separate account (I had blocked the first ) and has dropped taking me to court. The classes are disorganized and run by (kind ) kids. During recital last year her own mom didn’t agree with how she left my niece alone and sick in a tent outside (with her mom ) without telling any of us. Our hearts dropped when everyone came in to stage but our niece. The director is never around. We are at a far more professional studio and way happier. We used to be happy at the old location , it seems since the move the director has taken on a different personality. They advertised the new location had more viewing areas (blocked by decorative film and stacked items ) the tv to watch classes never works , they moved chairs in the front foyer so you couldn’t sit there and watch. Because of this , many parents take to sitting in the hall and watching their young kids. The director ignored me when she saw me doing it and had one of her staff come and give me trouble (I asked why she couldn’t kindly say he can you move and ignored me instead and had a staff member do it) I’ve literally never seen anyone else being given trouble. She has booked recital during the week outside of Guelph and has stated (not sure if she’s changed this or not ) that dancers will dance two days and have to come one day for recital practice. This is the final straw. I know two other families who left for this reason and don’t want to tell her so said their kids were no longer interested. My husband can’t afford taking 3 days off work early to watch this 3 day event. My SK would also be exhausted!

I absolutely love Connections Dance Collective.I wanted to find a relaxed and fun dance class for my 5 year old and I’m so glad I enrolled her here.The teachers are very kind and bring a fun energy to every class.The studio is also really nice and they have a room for parents to watch.

This is our second year and my daughter loves it here. I have seen such a progress in her dance and she is always talk about how nice the instructors are. Every time I am in the studio they are always so welcoming and sweet. Always have big smiles in their faces and laughing all the time.

My Daughter loves going every week! She is now in her Second year and looks forward to her classes to learn and have fun! She has made some great friends. Staff are amazing and very helpful throughout the year

CDC is an incredible dance studio! When my daughter joined, she immediately felt like a part of the CDC family. She loves it so much and comes home so happy and proud of herself every day. Miss Kelsey and all of the teachers have created such a supportive environment where the kids thrive both as dancers and people.

Our 2 daughter’s have danced at CDC since the studio opened and they love it! Miss Kelsey and her talented team offer a variety classes that are fun and engaging for every level of dancer. We would highly recommend CDC!
