GTA Mavericks Basketball Association

I am very impressed with the dedication of the coaches. My son first joined in a week long 2021 summer camp and insisted on continuing week after week. The individual attention given to the kids development is much better than most other classes in the area.

My son is really enjoying Lil Mavs Basketball! As a 4 yo this is the first program that is running real drills and really teaching him the sport. Only comment is that the younger ones do need a little more 1:1 direction, and maybe run 3 on 3 instead of 5 on 5 so easier for kids to understand

I was very happy to find GTA Mavericks program. Wonderful, friendly and responsive coaches always ready to help the child to improve the skills. My son is very happy with all programs and after them he is sleep, breath and think only about basketball. He spend all his time with training and improving his skills. Would highly recommend GTA Mavericks.

My son really enjoyed the March break rep camp. Coach Jake was amazing. This was the perfect camp as although they had fun, they really pushed the kids to improve and learn not just in the skills area but also in the strength area. The coaches really want to help them and I highly recommend going to this camp.

Coach Michel and Coach Jake and Coach Dom are appreciated immensely for their kindness and easy going but firm coaching of our children. My son, Tobe has a very great respect for them and really loves them and the way they have made him feel at home with the Mavericks. The Rep team is a Godsend for my son because it keeps him focused and active in a sports he has come to truest enjoy and he always looks forwards to playing with his team mates.

Mavericks is one of the most professional basketball academies in Canada, where kids are trained and improve their basketball skills in the best way. The trainers are really kind, friendly, patient and talented and have provided a very attractive environment to the participants. my son attended 3 weeks of summer camp at mavericks. He couldn’t be happier. Can’t wait to join him to the team soon. Highly recommended :)

Mishel, Jake and the GTA Mavericks coaches instilled the passion of playing basketball in my son. They are the reason my son is hooked on playing at any given chance. They are lively, fun while being trainers at an extremely high level. In addition, they run events supporting their community whenever possible. I feel lucky to have found them… they are the best coaches and role-models for the youth.

It's not easy to find an all girls basketball training in Vaughan. Luckily Mavericks provide this class. My daughter attended the classes several months ago, and she really likes the classes and all the coaches. It made her fall in love with basketball, and I couldn't image this before. She enjoyed playing basketball and playing games with the girls who are almost her same age. All the coaches are professional, nice and always encourage them. I watched a couple of times of the whole class and even I myself like the classes they provide. My daughter will continue learning there and hopefully she will have more improvement and go further in basketball.

My son is 11 and spent 2 weeks of winter camp with the awesome staff at GTA Mavericks. He is looking forward to continuing on for more fun filled, positive, supportive coaching to further develop with this great team.

My son has been with this club for 2 seasons, and is very happy. His basketball skills have improved tremendously, the coaches are true pros and are amazing with kids. They have unlocked true potential with my son, and there has not been a single practice to which he didn’t want to go or didn’t enjoy. I highly recommend this club if you want your child to stay active, improve basketball techniques and just have so much fun! I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you coach Michel and coach Jake.
