VoltBike

I ordered two Kodiaks and only one came with the road tires advertised on the website. The other one came with knobby Mountain bike tires. This is not what I wanted or what I purchased. I don't want Mountain bike tires on a commuter bike. Just like I wouldn't want road tires on my Mountain bike or, winter tires on my car during the summer. The tires are noisy and vibrates when riding the bike. I tried emailing and Facebook messaging the company. Never any replies. Last week I called and one guy told me the tires are fine for that bike and I should just ride it". He then proceeded to hang up on me. After calling again

Ordered a VoltBike Mariner for myself and a VoltBike Mariner step through for my wife. Jason placed the order right away and it was shipped out that same day - only took 5 days to get from Vancouver to Regina (this includes a weekend and a winter storm). Very impressed! The bikes were shipped pretty much assembled (had to install pedals and insert handlebars). We wanted folding bikes so that it would be easier for us to take along camping/RVing, so did a lot of research. Decided on VoltBike Mariner as it looked like you got a lot of bike for less money, relative to some of the other comparable models available. The company seems like a well-run organization. They have promptly answered questions/concerns that I have had so far, there are a lot of company made reference/how-to videos available that might be very useful. So far, I have put just under 100km on the bike and am impressed with how sturdy the bike is. The bike handles great and is quite comfortable - the only thing that I will probably upgrade will be the seat if I can find one that fits me better (in the meantime, it's not a showstopper). As far as the range, I haven't really used it enough to give it an honest test (in one stretch, I put on 28 km using a combination of PAS levels and using throttle only and the gauge dropped by one bar, however, I am not sure how accurate that gauge is). I am looking forward to next camping season and hope to put a lot of miles on it. Will post an updated review on the bike then. Thank you Jason and company!

Just purchased my voltbike. Arrived in a decent amount of time. Box was in excellent shape but upon inspection of bike the rear derailleur cable was damaged. Pictures were sent and the hassle to not replace a part they damaged on a $3000+ bike is crazy. Does not give me any confidence that this company will stand behind their product at all. In addition I added the extra $100 derailleur which is most likely when this damage happened. This bike should have never left the shop like that!

I have bought a new electric bike, i received a bike with several problems. First, I had to call the transport companies several times and I went to pick it up at the warehouse of the second carrier… Problem after problem, my ebike is again shutdown. Back Rack broken, rear tire broken, rear Wheel in unlined, skip teeth in gear 6 and 7. I have also a noise in my freewheel gear and crankset ... The display have a bug and scratch under cover protection. Voltbike a pay a new tire and align the wheel by local bike store, is not perfect so it's less bad. The shipping compagnie have also the problem, i receive a broken bike with destroyed box. The Voltbike bike is not properly packaged and easy to broke. Now Voltbike don't return my email. At two time they told me they would send me a freewheel Shimano part which i never received! It's my second ebike, my first have 2 years and 1600 KM and NO problem for the same price. This product is a party mix of problem, and you can find a better product for the same price. Comments on the Voltbike website are filtered and were made often after a single first run... The only think a like about this bike: hydraulic brake, small frame, color display and button for disable the throttle. I need pay myself for a new freewheel and crankset bearing. After I will have a ebike operational.Is that Voltbike quality?August 2022I don’t know if is due to my post so i have received few days after a brand-new Shimano freewheel for my Elegant. I make myself the change of this part and adjustment. This bike rolls better, and noise disappear. There remains the crankset when you force but I will endure it since I do not force much! I also had much information about Voltbike service and tracking number for track my package. Thank you, I change my Google notice for his reasons. I add a new pictures of my freewheel at the end.

The Mariner V2 shares the same imported frame as several ebike companies in BC and resembles closely the more expensive Aventon Sinch. However, Voltbike stands out from allcompetitors with much better options yet at a lower price. More importantly, however, is their reputation and amazing customer support located in BC. Greg and their staff goes the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy and taken care of. One star was taken off due to their website’s claim of 3 day delivery (which has since been updated to 7 days now). 7 days is, however, still unrealistic as I waited 21 days for delivery and 3 follow up calls, thus missing my mothers birthday. As well, had I not given them a call on the pickup date, I would have driven to coquitlam and returned home empty-handed because my ebike was not ready until the next day. Regardless, I am positive that Voltbike will only get bigger and better once they catch up with all the orders from the BC ebike government program. Keep up the great work!

Have had my Venture for about three weeks now and clocked 300+ km mostly on hilly gravel trails. I live where we ride some steep trails and with the Sram 11 speed it goes up the hills with ease. It does use up battery quickly using the higher power boost but that is to be expected. We have done 50+km rides and still get back with 20% left. All in all so far very happy with the venture. Oh and I added a suspension post to the supplied seat which I highly recommend for much improved ride comfort

We received our Volt 750 Step Thru bikes and I must say I was very impressed with the construction and the fact that they came practically totally assembled and within 1 hr we were ready to ride.The Bikes performed flawlessly and are very fun to ride, and they get us out and get some exercise even at the young age of 73. I can at this point completely recommend the VoltBike company and all of the support we received reasures me that they will be there for us if we do have any problems in the future.Go ahead and compare the multiple E-bikes that are out there and I think you will find that these bikes are the best bang for your buck.

I had an excellent experience purchasing my first e-bike from VoltBike! Atta and Joemar were nice, friendly and helpful, and I had a good time shopping there! They patiently answered all of my concerns and assisted me in selecting the best bike for my needs. I spent a significant amount of time researching several e-bike options in Metro Vancouver, and as expected, VoltBike was the best in terms of quality, price for performance, and customer service thus far! Whenever I contacted them with a question, they accepted my call after a reasonable wait time and answered my question. I will recommend this business and have already persuaded two of my coworkers to purchase a VoltBike e-bike! You will hear from them soon!I bought an Outback last week, and I just crossed 100 kilometres on it today! It's been great so far!

I shopped everywhere and compared technical stats. I phoned a couple of places and evaluated the service I got. I waited for return calls that did not come which lost lost my business.Voltbike came through and I placed an order sight unseen.I haven't found a single problem. Everything was as good or better than what they said. The seat was a little uncomfortable but my butt hasn't been on one for years!
