We have a child on the autism spectrum. Our previous dentistry attempts have been 100% disasters. This is our 3rd or 4th visit to brush floss and while skipping out to the truck with me, my 9 yr old son said: I can't wait to goto the dentist again!". Nuff said. This place is amazing!! The staff are so patient and fantastic!!"

We were referred here for my daughter's teeth. Unfortunately we didn't feel comfortable doing everything that was recommended, and after talking to others in the field, it wasnt a huge issue that needed to be dealt with. In the end we were told that they will do everything and we don't have a say in it. First off, I'm the mother/guardian of my child, if I say something isn't happening its not happening2nd off, I'm the one paying for it, so if I say no, it means no.So overall I do not recommend this clinic because they think they have more say over a child then the parent/guardian and don't care about what you have to say. 10/10 do not recommend. Because of this I also canceled my other child's appointment because at this point I do not believe they can be trusted to respect my wishes as a parent and are also out there for the money.

I felt uncomfortable the moment I walked in there was three ladies behind the doors talking rudely About a lady who prior walked out the door. Next they took my 3yo for X-rays alone it being his 1st time there didn’t even offer for myself to come with. Then The procedure that they recommended was definitely not needed after seeing another dentist they thought it was outrageous

UPDATE: I have seen that they have changed their separation policy, this makes meSo excited about continuing to be a client here. Thank you brush floss. Will update after my experience with my children this fallThey are a separation clinic, they don’t understand that the reason children are compliant without parents is because they feel weak and inferior, my daughter went burst into tears when we left because she needed me because she was scared to tell them it hurt, this made me feel sick and has caused my children great anxiety with all medical appointments. My husband has had to express this distaste and go in the back with our two anxious children. This is in regards to the front staff. After talking with Dr Grant he has no issue allowing the parents in. I am giving them another chance with all three since the Dentist himself was great. Other than the separation aspect I really like this clinic. I gave one star because this separation aspect is not only anxiety inducing for my children, it affects me as well. I don’t personally now these people and my3 and 4 year old don’t either. I am their protector. I will change my rating as soon as my nextRound of appointments are complete in the fall.

If it were not for Jen, the amazing hygienist who cleaned my sons teeth, I would give this place a one star. The policy of not having parents come to the back is un real. We come in as perfect strangers and we are supposed to hand over our child to the dentist and staff. Its my job as a parent to be there with my child in a situation that is scary for them. My son at first thought he could go in on his own but changed his mind last minute. I’m glad he did.The dentist did not seem to communicate well with my son who was engrossed with Paw Patrol. He seemed caught off guard by the dentist stretching his mouth, his natural reactions was to bring his hand to his mouth and interfere with the doctors hands. After the examination his assistant tells me that he is not mature enough to have his teeth clean. What! This was not his first cleaning nor his first dental experience. Never before have I had dental staff claim that my son, or any of my six children for that matter, did not behave well enough to have a teeth cleaning. I got the impression that they were not happy that I came to the back with my son. At this point The hygienist came in and I explained what went down. She cleaned my sons teeth no problem and spoke to me about some concerns that the dentist did not bother to stay to talk about.I think this dental office has so much potential. The facility itself is really nice apart from there not being heat in the washroom. However there is plenty of room for improvement. Suggestion #1: the front staff could find it within themselves to smile and be personable. Suggestion#2 The dental staff communicate effectively with the children when working on their mouths. #3 please ask are there any other concerns.# 4 be cheery and personable. Looking like you care makes a big difference. There seemed to be a cloud hanging over the head of the staff that day. We all have our bad days. I went to the appointment feeling cheerful but came out feeling partly happy and partly confused at the mis-treatment. My final suggestion is to stop saying you have a “no parent policy”. That should not be heard rolling off the tongue of any paediatric dental practice. Rather allow the parents the option to stay at the front or come to the back. There is no harm in encouraging parents to stay out however do not be stiff and say its your policy. Take that out of the language altogether it is an utterly absurd policy.

This place is amazing! So professional and kind. They care about u and ur family. I felt welcomed and confident that this was the right dentist for my daughter. They made her feel safe and was able to do her dental procedure fast and efficiently. She wasn't scared and happy once she was done. She was able to recieve several prizes as well as her sister that was just waiting for her. I'd recommend this place to everyone

Dr. Grant and his staff have been absolutely incredible with my boys. Right from the first visit to the office, up to both boys getting surgery. Everyone made us feel welcome, and the nurses have been so gentle, and comforting. I have extreme anxiety about the dentist, and I've never felt more comfortable with a dentist before. Thank you to Dr. Grant and staff!

My 4 year old has been coming here since her first ever check up at around 1. This is her favourite place to go and even gets into her pretend games to be a dentist since it’s fun. They have a great setup for kids with iPads, playground, little door - everything that makes the visit special and distracts kids from any fear or anxiety. We’ve had consistent great experience with check ups every 6 months and a few procedures here and there.

UPDATE: We got in today as they had a cancelation. This second experience was much better! I appreciated the apology from staff about our previous experience and we were seen within 15 minutes of our arrival. The dentist and staff were great and the treatment plan for my son was well thought out and explained. We're very glad to be a patient here. The office itself is gorgeous and the front staff are really polite, however I gave only 2 stars because after leaving work at 11:30am so I could pick up my son from school for his 12:15 appt, at 1pm we were still in the waiting room. I had to reschedule the appt a month from now as I didn't take 3 hours off work for an appt that was supposed to run from 12:15 -1:15. I'm trying to be understanding as I know offices often run a bit behind, but we were 45 minutes with no name called yet. I wish they had let me know before my appt that their office was running an hour late, now I literally wasted 2 hours and I get to ask for more time off work for something that was supposed to happen today. We're a new client and this was a cruddy first experience for us.
