Little Kitchen Academy Richmond Oval

My son really had a wonderful time! He said they got to work with a sharp knife and learned how to safely do so, he came home super excited and wanted to cook again so I'm very happy this was an inspiring experience for him. I hope to sign him up again, I just wish it wasn't so pricey.

I heard amazing things about Little Kitchen Academy and they definitely showed what a great program they have for their 3-5 age group. My son has sensory issues and they welcomed him with a warm feeling. He said he has a great time and his cookies came out amazing! I can't express how much of a great program this is and can't wait to sign up for more!Thank you to all the chefs and assistants at Little Kitchen Academy!

Very unique institution, my son enjoy every single class and even ask to have class there everyday. Teachers are very nice and friendly. I enjoy those yummy food my son made during the class! Recommend for those looking for extra curriculum.

My 5 year old daughter has been to 2 sessions and has throughly enjoyed each time she’s gone.The facilities and equipment are new and clean, the instructors are great with children and the location is central and easy to get to. There is only pay parking available unless you park down the street and walk.There menu items were both diverse and challenging and my daughter loved the whole process from learning about the recipe to then implementing and then eating the fruits of her labour.Although it may be pricey on initialThought when you divide it by the 3hr / lesson and the complexity of the instructions and supervision required for kids to handle all the hazards of a kitchen, I think it offers tremendous value.

The kitchen is always neat and clean. The teachers are so friendly. My kids always have such a wonderful time and come home proud to share what they made in class.

First time trying richmond location and my girl enjoyed it a lot. The recipies were great but an idea to send kid with a copy of recipe of what they made so we can make things together, and let the kid lead the cooking class for the parents (or email recipe). I know you guys post those recipe on the door but we kept forgetting to take photo of those. Location is convenient but there really is no loading area or passenger drop off area so keep in mind you will need to find parking about two blocks off the academy.

Staff and owner were very generous offering the giveback program to residents in Richmond. Our children were very happy and had lots of fun learning and exploring in class. They learned about all the ingredients and different food they are given. They really enjoy having their own little working station, and each of them get a chance to prepare their food. It is so nice to see the big smiles on their faces, and sat down courteously enjoying the food they made. We will definitely be back to take more classes here!

My son loved the experience. The staff are really great with the kids. I came a little early to check in and he was fully immersed in the cooking process.

classes was a rip off at about $95 per class last time they for 3 classes they only taught the kids making some granola bar that didn't even aquire any skills or even baking. one time was fried noodle where you can hardly see a few strings of noodles but just lots of veggies they wouldn't even dare to upload those class photos to their website like they usually do. I do not like how they don't tell you what they are making in advance as I do not want to see my kid gets disappointed and I had to spend that much money for the classes she so looking forward to.I had registered over 10 classes with LKA but the last experience was really awful! I will not register again and I do not recommend their class to any one.
