I am so so grateful that I found Jaz -she is AMAZING and has significantly helped reduce my pain and realign my posture!!! Jaz is so skilled at what she does, it's hard to write a review. Her treatments are amazing and always leave me feeling like I have a new body, a new relationship with my body, and new hope for my body's healing and alignment. She deeply understands the whole body and the nature of healing, and really values explaining everything to you so that you actually understand and that you actually have the tools to work on your own healing. Her goal is to really help you and resolve your issues, she would rather that you know how and feel empowered to create your own healing than keeping coming in for treatments forever. I look and feel different with my new posture improvements, it feels great. I can't wait to keep working with her and can't recommend enough.

It's not possible to say enough good things about Jaz, and the therapeutic treatments that she offers!! Her warm and professional manner helped to make me feel secure and relaxed right away. The aqua-osteopathic treatments she offers are the most peaceful, and effective of any body work experience that I've had in my life (and I do NOT like pools at all!). Jaz' passion about balance, her care for others, and helping to restore health to those she assists shines in all she does. Since having had 3 visits with her, I have been feeling much greater ease, and comfort in my body than I have in decades! After not being able to go barefoot for years (even at home for a couple of minutes), due to pain in my feet, I delighted in climbing barefoot on the rocks beside Sooke River this past weekend. When some pain arises in my body, I am able to help myself, through the teaching that Jaz offers all of her clients. On top of body improvements, I have noticed a dramatic increase in my mental health well being - a relaxed, aligned body makes space for a balanced and grounded mind. I have been many times for bodywork sessions with Jaz. Her work is very gentle, enjoyable and deeply healing. She often gives homework to help my shoulder problems including special ways of sleeping to speed the healing. Her osteopathic work is highly recommended!I returned recently to receive a new therapy invented by Jaz ...She now offers work at the Crystal Pool in Victoria. It is a floating therapy where you are supported in the water by floats under the knees and neck. Jaz does therapy involving manipulation sending waves through your floating body. It goes very deep and triggers an ecstatic altered state of mind combined with energetic healing. It's truely amazing, beyond description really. Highly recommended!

I arrived Victoria in heavy pain due to my slipped disc in my lower back. The doctor at the hospital advised me after Ct-scanning not to have physio therapy or anything else for one up to three (!) weeks.Despite his advice i went with Jaz to a warm pool session for a osteopathy session.I was impressed by the sensitive technique made possible by the weightlessness of the water. Looking back, this was the only opportunity I had for that short period of my stay. Jaz created a mobility through one session alone that I would not have thought possible. She stands out from a crowd of practicing physical therapists because of her empathetic and helpful nature combined with profound knowledge and skill. She is more than recommendable!

Jaz's unique and in depth knowledge of the neuroskeletal system is a gift to any person who experiences pain. I have tried many modalities over the years, there is no question that her Aquatic Osteopathy services have been healing for me. Jaz is extremely intelligent and shares her knowledge in a way that is so understandable. Her many videos are extremely helpful.

I went to see Jaz on the recommendation of my wife, to help with my chronic headaches, and muscle/joint pain.I am very much a water person and was intrigued and delighted to learn that the entire treatment would be in the water!Jaz met me in the warm, inviting wading pool at the Crystal Pool in Victoria, and with her gentle touch, she skillfully guided my body back toward its natural postural position. A position long forgotten by my body!As part of the ongoing treatment, Jaz sent me links to videos on her website that beautifully demonstrated the various self-massages, and exercises that she prescribed for me to do at home to support, reinforce, and facilitate the changes that she had brought about in my body's posture.On my third visit, I mentioned that I had pain in my right shoulder resulting from multiple breaks and dislocations, causing a decrease in strength and mobility and reduced range in motion. By the end of that 75 minute session, I was able to raise my elbow above my head and clasp my fingers together behind my head without pain for the first time in more than 25 years! Three weeks later, as I write this, my shoulder is still pain free and getting stronger.I have so much gratitude that words cannot express.In short, Jaz is nothing less than spectacular!If you have any muscle or joint pain, you need to see what miracle she can work for you. She is AMAZING!Thank you, Jaz! I can't wait for my next appointment!

I had my first Osteopath appointment everat Postureffect with Jaz and it was incredible. She explained each component of the body in language that I understood. Jaz educated me on the importance of routine self care with tips to work exercises into my everyday life. The experience was extremely positive and healing for the soul. Dr.Jaz came recommended from a good friend when I wasn’t looking, based on what I was told I knew right away she was someone my body needed to see and work with. From day one she went out of her way with kindness, clarity and a wealth of knowledge to work with me functionally. Showing me where disfunction was present in my body while giving me the tools to bring awareness and help release tight muscles to benefit my posture and take the load off of a head/neck injury.The beauty to this is how well it works when we communicate with our bodies and do the homework outside of the practitioners office making the results achieved each session in office greater while not being totally reliant to continually go back to get a quick and short lived fix. The support Jaz offers allows us to progress to a point where the body returns to alignment. I can’t recommend her services enough, everyone can benefit from this work!

Jaz is amazing! I have been living with extreme hip pain for years. The pain has become so bad even laying down was painful, so forget about sleeping. The only solution from the medical profession are injections that only work for a few weeks.With my pain worsening my sister suggested I call Jaz! I made an appointment for a session in the pool and have been seeing Jaz once a week for the past month, and it is amazing the progress I have made! I have been able to go back to cycling and I have stopped using my walker. I am so grateful for these sessions in the warm pool, I have improved mobility and reduced my pain. Jaz is so knowledgeable and has given me exercises to do at home and I am optimistic that with Jazz’s help my quality of life will improve! Thank you so much Jaz

I’ve had 3 Aquatic Osteopathy sessions with Jaz now and in all honesty, this is one of the the best modalities that I’ve ever experienced.Jaz is a very knowledgeable, supportive, intuitive and gentle therapist.My sessions with Jaz have been a full body experience.
