Foodland Schomberg is a nice clean supermarket that has prices that are a bit high but produce is fresh and the sales are great. Don Cherry was passing through and created quite a sensation as he was shopping for Swedish meatballs and dogfood.

Store is clean and well stocked. Fruits and vegetables in the produce section are all fresh. Good selection of meats, dairy and pantry products. Lots of friendly cashiers available to help you checkout.

The owner of this grocery store is a very friendly gentleman, the store is very clean & organized, the only reason why I give this store a 4 star & not 5 is because of there staff! And when I say staff I mean the ladies at the registers .. not all of them but most are extremely rude especially the older ones , its almost like it’s an inconvenience for them to place your groceries in the bags!Also the hours could be better , I think 8pm closing time is really early considering this store used to be a 24 hr store …. Maybe 10pm would be more convenient but it’s understandable I guess after CovidOther then that it’s a great location , lots of parking , shelves are always stocked!

Good small grocer with a decent hit table for ready to est meals. The prices are reasonable, the employees friendly and the chicken tenders of surprisingly high quality and flavour. Would recommend!

Just wanted to say thank you to the staff at foodland. I lost my wallet somewhere after checking out. Phoned in and they were holding my wallet for me. I'm so grateful. Thank you so much.

Prefer the grocery selection at Foodland for example the Baretta Farms meat. Unfortunately the plaza, walkway and parking lot, is in rough shape, broken asphalt and poor curb cuts.

decent store and relatively clean, but as we went to cash out the cashiers were not very welcoming. my cashier was leaning on the conveyor belt, on her phone when i was about to cash out. this came as a shock to me because she was on an open cash. she didn’t offer bags, and just asked if i had scene and how i would like to pay. as someone who works in customer service i completely understand that it is a difficult job, but i also found it rude how she was on her phone as i feel it’s expected that the cashier not be on their phone. additionally, the person i was with went to cash one, and she also seemed in a rush, didn’t offer him bags, but she left all his items he bought on the till and didn’t really push them toward him, and turned her back to him afterwards which again i found rude.
