Best Japanese food I've ever had! Everything was beautifully prepared and so good. The owner and the staff were so sweet and gave us a complimentary summer drink. The inside is very cozy for dining in. Will be making weekly visits to Kako's Kitchen!

Have had ramen coast to coast in Canada. Rivals anything I have had before. Each ingredient was really tasty and well done, highly recommend.

Despite the limited number of days that this place opens, it’s owner (Kako) is a gracious host and generous with free “extras” when we visited recently. The food is as authentic as you can get and as delicious as could be. The bonsai matcha mousse/strawberry compote combo dessert was a major departure from the usual dessert in this city. The vegetarian ramen was delicious (a bit saltier than our usual taste but still very good). Thanks Kako for elevating our eateryexperience! (Can’t wait for the matcha shaved ice dessert coming soon!)

Had the handmade mochi and it was so good! The ichigo mochi was perfectly ripe. The chocolate was so rich, not too sweet. The new matcha mochi was such a classic taste.

Went for lunch, got the vegan ramen and was blown away by how good the homemade plant-based meat was. Will definitely be going back, I really want to try the beautiful bento boxes!

Fresh, healthy and delicious Japanese food. The owner is so friendly and really makes you feel at home in her kitchen. Highly recommend the chicken karaage bowl to anyone looking for something hearty and filling.

Amazing food! A must for any lover of Japanese foods. Currently has a pop up store for tondou ramen from Toronto as well.
