Would not accept Dr Script and charged me a $500 which they failed to mention until i came to pick up. plus a $75 appointment fee . it would also appear that they ask how much your insurance will cover and charge that exact amount. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! dont go here...

Booking my appt was extremely easy. When I arrived all staff were very professional and store was clean. I was in and out and got a nice new pair of orthotics and work boots. A+++++++. Only place I’m going for work boots for now on.

This is a great orthotic centre. They are very polite and professional. I love that I could make my appointment online. They have awesome technology and my appointment was quick but not rushed. I was also able to go next door and pick out a pair of Birkenstocks which were included in the price of orthotics at this clinic. Everything about my feet and how my orthotics would be customized was explained to me. I was able to pick up my orthotics and new shoes at any time convenient to me which was great. This place was recommended to me and I am definitely spreading the word to others.

They were very busy but still managed to get me into my appointment on time. I could tell it was a busy time for them and the foot doctor still had time to answer my question. I had problems with heel pain and she gave some good tips and solutions. Looking forward to getting my new shoes and orthotics soon.

Very bad experience .person at the counter Patrick (very rude and not helpful thats what he said his name was ). I was a little late for my approintment. I had done all my paperwork before still he made me wait for some more time and then said I cannot have my appointment as I was late and he does not hv any more appointments for this year .Very mean and spiteful staff . If you have such staff you will loose yr business . they just lost my familys business and i will not recommend anyone to go there .

Great appointment with the foot specialist, who helps me with my heel pain. I have been to a few clinics but this one is solid. Always on time and they answer all my questions.

UPDATE! As wonderful as Paul was in helping me, it turns out we didn't get all the foreign bodies out of my foot (I don't fault him for that, at the time it was me who thought all was clear) BUT since then I have been in contact to rebook an appointment two different times. The first time it took a week for a response and this second time it's been several days (so far). I'm giving up and trying to find a chiropodist's office that actually wants to book me in.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I am so relieved to have found this place. I suffered with pain in the ball of my foot for months. My GP was completely confused by it, first identifying it as a callous, then maybe a plantar wart. Paul was very gentle and kind while he examined my foot. He was very determined to find the problem. After a lot of painless digging, he uncovered 2 very small foreign bodies. Just like that, my pain was gone. I was happy to learn that you don't even need a doctor's referral to see them. Any future issues I might have with my feet, I'll be revisiting Paul at this clinic. They also submit paperwork to your insurance company on your behalf so I will be partly reimbursed. Highly recommend!

Horrrible customer service! I would give this place less than one star if I could. The women that work here are so rude. They refuse to be acomadating and helpful. Will not be dealing with them again.

Horrible customer service. After being a 10 year client of Hamilton Orthodics it seems there only concern is how much money they are going to charge you. They give you the option to obtain your own perscription from your Dr., but then don't accept in upon appointment. Adding a $75 assessement fee even with a script. The workers at the front desk are not informative and not the least bit helpful in working with customers. There lack of bed side manner" has caused them to lose 4 long term clients. Bad word of mouth goes a long way and I will be ensuring I spread the word at the horrible service I received from this organization."

$50 charge for shoes not required by insurance companies.I’m giving this company 2 stars because the initial exam was very pleasant. The chiropodist and kinesiologist were well informed and pleasant. The reminder of our experience was not so.Customer service outside of the initial exam was below average at best. After the exam they then asked if we wanted to choose a pair of shoes from their catalogue or receive $150 voucher to use at The Boot Shop. I picked out of the catalog and my wife took the voucher. We were then charge $75 each for the exam and $50 each for the shoes. I asked what the $50 charge was for they said it was required by the insurance companies so that you aren’t receiving a free pair of shoes. I thought it was odd but didn’t think anything of it. When I called my insurance company and asked about whether they required orthotic businesses to charge $50 for a pair of shoes so businesses aren’t giving away free shoes with orthotics they said they’ve never heard of such a thing. I called back the Hamilton orthotic center and relayed what the insurance company said and they said sorry what we meant is that if you want shoes with your orthotics you need to pay $50.It has just been a really shady experience and really poor customer service with misleading charges. Why charge $50 and then give $150 voucher? Why not a $100 voucher? Won’t be going here again. I’ve talked to other people who’ve been fitted for orthotics and have the shoes included.
