Dyers Bay Government Dock and Boat Launch

Nice quiet area, perfect for a swim in the clear waters. Lots of cottages in the area, a small cafe is located right across the street from the dock. Free parking is available about 5min walk from the bay.

Parking is no longer free, but good parking lot a small 5-6 minute walk from where you actually launch and the dock. Large Ramp and pier.

Water so clean you can see straight to the bottom. Caught a lot of fish there too.

This is definitely one of the most unique places on the peninsula. Crystal clear waters and nice long pier that kids can jump off of when no boats are around. This bay is hidden away and bit of a drive off the main highway. Parking is not free, but requires payment. The lot is located at the top of a hill on the way to the dock. Payment is made WAY before you get to the parking lot. Essentially after you turn off on the main highway, you will come to a T intersection. At this point before you turn right, you should buy your parking ticket. It is approximately a 5 minute drive to the parking lot from this point. As for public toilet access, it is located in the parking lot only so make sure you plan accordingly.

Crazy ice in the winter. A great place to set up a telescope in the summer.

Free to park and launch ! Launch is very deep and can get very unstable on a windy day so please check the weather before you head out. Parking is about 5min uphill walk !

Hidden gem. Rocky beach with Crystal clear water. Ample of free parking at 2-3 minute distance. Easily accessible by wheel chair. Must visit place if you are in the area.
