I have nothing but good things to say about this funeral home, when my mother passed we had to have a service done quickly, due to family members from out of province only being available for limited time. They handled everything so professionally and billed our funeral insurance and arranged for all paperwork. They met with us and even conducted the service as clergy was not available.They did my father's prayers/wake and service years ago and they will do my service and my sons when the time comes, with as much care and dignity as they have with us previously.Thank you for your professionalism, caring and dignity you bring to this time in our lives.

My Dad died of cancer complications a lot quicker than expected in July and I was recommended this funeral home. While they acted professional and carried out the funeral without a hitch, they failed to inform my Mother that funeral expenses could be billed directly to the estate and instead left her (with me present as well) in the meeting room after signing the plan agreements to cash out her savings and available credit options to pay the full 5 figure bill on the spot during the consultation, only noting that the total amount was due before the funeral 2 days later.Both his bank and the estate lawyer were shocked to hear this and informed her afterward that it was common practice to bill to the estate given the short time period between death and burial. This added significant stress and grief to our family already in mourning, (update: the owner has since called my mom to apologize after I posted this, so I removed the part about not following up). Instead of focusing on remembering him during his burial, this shadowed the entire event.
