We would like to say thank you for making a beautiful and scrumptious baby shower cake! They are very accommodating. We called Wednesday (one day) to order a last minute baby shower cake for a coworker, and they were able to pull it off and the cake was excellent, Super moist and not sweet at all! They offer a variety of gluten free, vegan, diabetic and lactose free options. The staff and owner are absolutely friendly! We will be back again.

I would like to say a big thank you to Sigrid's for making the most beautiful and scrumptious wedding cake for my daughter and new son in law who were married on August 24th. The guests at the wedding went on and on about the cake. We asked for something very special, you delivered! Their products are fresh and typically traditional I would go there every day if I could afford it, they are a bit expensive but you can't beat the freshness and flavour.

Great German bakery/deli/restaurant one street up from the main street. Had some gluten-free & diabetic products as well as a lovely assortment of other products. We purchased bee-sting & plum cake both were yummy!!

I put on an Oktoberfest for our Rotary Club here in Alliston and as a German myself I had to make sure we would have the most authentic experience. I actually went around and tried different pretzels and Weißwurst (white sausages) from different places. And Sigrid's is just in a league of it's own.We ended up getting pretzels, pretzel buns, white sausages, sweet mustard and some strudel. Really loved the convenience of getting it all from one place for a good price. Everyone at the club absolutely loved the food.The team at Sigrid's had the order ready on time and was flexible with some last minute changes we made to the order.I like to shop here for myself as well. The rye bread sold here is really a relief from all the terrible bread that is sold in supermarkets and this is also the only place I can get my favourite poppy seed cake.Truly a gem in the Barrie area and worth the 30 minute drive for me.

Not European style, or quality cakes. Being from a European background, I figured that we've hit the jackpot. Not! Had a plain white, 3 layered cake, with white icing. Cake was more than moist..downright wet, and the icing tasted like coloured Crisco. Other items may be good, but that cake?...nope.Sorry Sigrid..not the European quality that this European is used to.

Saturday, January 20, 2018 - Very excellent local bakery, with a wide variety of European foods. Best Black Forest Cake not made in Germany. Staff friendly, and service excellent.

If your looking for German style baked goods at great prices, look no farther! It's the BEST bakery in and around Barrie. FAST, and friendly customer service. Daily made breads and baked goods/pastries all from scratch. There is a wide selection, even gluten free and a few vegan items too! But wait! There's more!! They have other food items for sale as well; boxed chocolates, chips, teas, jam, frozen items. It's a definite must go if you live in or around the area.
