Responsive, compassionate and helpfulWe've brought our cockapoo, Neo, to the Ridgeway Animal hospital quite a few times and the team and vet have always been very helpful. In March we found a lump on our pups rump. Another vet told us (definitively - without doing a biopsy) that it was cancer and needed to be removed ASAP and we had to have him fixed at the same time. We rearranged a vacation so we could take our pup in for surgery ASAP but the other clinic wasn't able to complete the surgery as promised and told us just to 'enjoy the time we had left with him'.A month later we took Neo to the Ridgeway Animal Hospital and the doctor did a fine needle biopsy which told us that the lump WAS NOT cancer, just a fatty lipoma. We spent thousands of dollars rearranging our trip, over $1000 at the other vet and, most horrifically, experienced a month+ of sleepless nights thinking we were going to lose our best friend, all for the Ridgeway Animal Hospital to tell us in two days that he doesn't have cancer.Today, Neo started scratching his ear incessantly and ended up scratching his ear so badly it was bleeding. We called the Ridgeway Animal Clinic in a panic and they were able to see him within an hour, diagnose him with an ear infection and prescribe him meds. He's now resting comfortable (with his cone on) and we're so relieved. We are so grateful for the vet and the team at the Ridgeway Animal Clinic.

Unfortunately I did not have a great experience here. Due to the retirement of our vet we needed to find a new vet, so booked with Ridgeway. I have two senior dogs which I took in for yearly and to meet the veterinarian. No onenelae was there when we arrived. The assistant pleasantly introduced herself and then took Aussie to the vet. She shortly returned with him and asked for Millie. At this time I asked if they were not allowing people in due to COVID and she stated no it's due to construction. She shortly came back with Millie and let me know what I owed and handed me the machine to pay. I was taken back and had to ask what was done. She explained a booster. I then said I thought I would at least see the vet as we were new and I had things to discuss about my dogs needs. She just smiled and passed us off. So never even met the vet. I didn't feel we would be getting the help or care we would need and never gave them a second chance. Luckily found a great, caring veterinarian!

Had a terrible time with my 12 week old puppy. I was not allowed in with him, many months after the covid restrictions have been lifted. He yelped and cried for me and they wouldn't let me be with him. Following our appointment he wouldn't let me touch him or pick him up. He only went in for routine vaccinations. Never going back here. Most unempathic and disconnected vet ever. If you want a human approach avoid this clinic!

Really has gone down hill. Used to be good. But now ...What kind of vet office doesn't answer there phones and tells you they will call you back within 24 hours but doesn't. Also go to the emergency clinic if you need help today. So sad guess I'll be getting a new vet.

My dad brought our dog here for many years before saying goodbye to her at 16. They were always so gentle, patient and thorough with our sweet girl as well as being professional and knowledgeable when giving us advice and treatments. We are all so grateful for all your years of helping us and making our girl’s last moments so calm, comfortable and kind. Thank you ❤️
