Newmarket Rowley Mile Course

This is a great day out regardless of your knowledge of horse racing. The staff from top down are courteous efficient and friendly.The weather helps of course.Try it out sometime but don't expect to come home with loads of money in your pocket!

I visited for a car show but it was interesting to see inside the racecourse!

Easy to park, no queuing to enter. Drinks and food expensive but to be expected.I prefer the July racecourse as the family enclosure is much better for children . The Rowley mile doesn't have a park for them to play in

Great racing, excellent viewing, plenty of room to accommodate a much bigger crowd than was here today, lots of food and drink options from both mobile, bar and restaurant facilities.Ordered my Premier enclosure ticket, racecard and food and drinks voucher package on Jockey Club website prior to the day which arrived in good time. Used my REWARDS4RACING points to buy them. REWARDS4RACING is an excellent website to join and collect points as you bet and shop online.Layout is particularly good with pre-parade, parade/winners enclosure and grandstand all within easy reach of each other which makes it easy on the legs and feet.Love the full-size horse statues, Brigadier Gerard in the pre-parade ring and Persian Punch in full racing pose.Event staff very friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyable afternoon’s racing. Helpful staff, great atmosphere and easy parking at the course.

Visited on 2000 guineas day. Huge crowd but never felt like it was crowded. Superb facilities. Something for everyone. Paddock was easily accessible and the lawn was picture postcard perfect. All in all, a superb advertisement for British horse racing at its best.

The mix of drunk race goers and gig attendees around 5/6pm is nothing short of chaotic. Crazy queues for EVERYTHING, really poorly trained bar staff serving everything in plastic and getting home is an absolute nightmare... saw my favourite band (who were great) but wouldn't book a gig here again.

Visited with a large group on a Friday afternoon for racing and the Pete Tong event that followed. The course itself is perfectly fine. It seems well organised and it’s very easy to find your way around. The bars only accept card now which is a bit nuts considering where you are. The food options are pretty poor. Overpriced and bland.It was a bit of a performance trying to get out of the car park.The day in general was great and Pete Tong & his orchestra were brilliant.
