Camp Junkie

Rented the 1991 Wesfalia for two nights and was thoroughly impressed with the condition and features. I enjoyed driving the van during the wet weather through the Fraser Valley. I will rent it again.

Loved our trip and experience. Mike was super thorough with the walk through. Although we have our own camping gear, it was awesome to just book and go without having to think about supplies. Camp Junkie had everything we needed and things that we didn’t even know we needed. Great high quality gear too.

My experience with Camp Junkie was nothing short of exceptional! In all honestly, it was one of my favourite camping trips I’ve ever participated in—all thanks to the beautiful Westie we were so lucky to have had for two nights (and quite honestly wished we had for that much longer).For an old girl made new, she was so fun to drive, well equipped with the latest and greatest camping accessories (like an espresso maker/ running water/ propane stovetop/ pop up tent/ awning/ etc) while maintaining her old, classic charm. Her beautiful wrap made her pop in every photo, and she was a conversation starter every time we parked her!Mike (and his family) are stellar to work with and are both friendly and knowledgeable.10000/10 would recommend.

We had a great trip up to Hope, Kamloops, Jasper and Banff. The van was cozy and reliable and all the additional features were a nice treat. This is definitely a destination vehicle and we struggled going up some of the mountain roads. It was worth it as we weren’t in a rush and we were able to enjoy the views and even see a moose! Thanks for a great trip around BC and Jasper!

We had a incredible experience with the newest addition to their fleet, Dante, who got many looks of admiration and compliments!We looped around the south end of Vancouver island up to Cowichan Lake and back down to Victoria for 3 nights and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. The van was stocked with absolutely everything we needed, from necessesities (bedding, kitchenware, cleaning supplies, etc) to awesome extras that just made the trip even more comfortable and enjoyable, such as speakers, camp chairs, pop up tents, every charging cable you'd ever need and many more.Mike and Erin were lovely, accomodating and made themselves very available throughout the duration of our trip.If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure with peace of mind and lovely, accomodating service - we couldn't reccomend Camp Junkie enough!

Rented a bright Red VW westie fromMike for a 2 week trip of a lifetime. Great service and comms from Mike, easy to drive and no issues over 2000km! Would 100% recommend

Really awesome rental. Van was clean and well stocked. Fairly easy to figure out. My kids said it was the best camping trip ever.

Had an amazing trip to Vancouver Island in the yellow westy. The van was fully loaded with everything needed to camp ... chairs, flashlights, pots, a fully working stove and even running water.The bottom bed was super comfortable.Overall a super fun experience, and a worry-free ride to Tofino and back.Thanks for the hospitality Mike!

Our family just rented one of these amazing Vans and it was such a nostalgic experience for me full of memories of camping in these Westfalia’s as a child. More importantly it blew my 4 year old son’s mind. Hats off to Camp Junkie for creating such a premium Westie rental service. The Van was in excellent condition with many parts having been restored or upgraded. The van was SUPER clean and stocked with so many high quality items. Even the coffee they provided was Illy brand. Considering the costs to buy, maintain, insure these types of vehicles the rental cost seemed very reasonable. My wife and I are looking forward to the next rental.
