Rented the truck for the move. Did not return the truck on time (my fault). Offered $50 to the client who was let down because of my delay (guarantee program). Cleaned the truck, overfilled the truck. Location charged $50 cleaning fees to put it in their pocket, instead of giving it to tge client. Dishonest people and business is the problem.

We only drove 25 miles and were charged for driving 204 miles. When we spoke to the lady at U-Haul she even openly said this isn't the first time this has happened" and that it's a mistake on their end. Make sure you take your own pictures of the odometer and pay attention to your bills if what they charge. They helped resolve the issue right away for us."

Friendly to get info and use it against you later & charge unnecessary cleaning fee. If you should rent from them don’t allow them to checked you out later, get it done right away, same with checked in, don’t use self serve wrong kilometre which they rectified right away. They are unfair and dishonest in conducting business, probably add mess to van and claimed dirty & take a videos . Two negative experiences with uhaul in Barrie. End of over 2 decades rental relationship with uhaul. Discount rental or Home Depot may appreciate your business better and not look for ways to make extra money being dishonest.The before you go checked out should asked questions for possible fees customers can be billed for later like fake cleaning fees.

Had booked the truck online, pick up was easy. We were a little late returning truck, called to advise, and she waited for us! Such great staff.

Nice friendly staff; rented a trailer for a few hours and the experience went off without a hitch !

Be careful with charges got charged extra day for no reason and charged for not using an ap i was not told about returning unit.

I recently had an excellent customer service experience at the U-Haul dealership at 484 Essa Road in Barrie and I would like to share my positive feedback with the community. The staff at this location is extremely friendly and offer an informative and helpful customer service. Very, very rare nowadays. Professional, accessible, accommodatingI thoroughly enjoyed my multi-week experience with this company, Uhaul Whimsical Emporium. Located at 484 Essa Road.I became responsible for the cleaning out of a warehouse. The team at Whimsical Emporium saw to all of my needs with assorted truck sizes and asorted trailer sizes to fit my current task at hand. This location is great. It’s the mobile reservation and check-in process I have issues with. I filled out forms at home for 45+ minutes and finally the reservation was complete. So I went to pick up the truck and ONLY THEN did it prompt me to take pictures of my license (I had already entered my license number, expiry, etc) and then it suddenly wanted more things like a passport or lease agreement! While I’m in the U-Haul parking lot with my toddler crying, I had to scramble to get everything completed and wait for Uhaul to call my brother to verify my identity since obviously I did not have a passport or lease agreement on hand.Poor web design/user experience
