They are a horrible customs broker. They will cost you money I extra charges. My advice is stay away

I hate Livingston with a passion everytime I have to deal with them for northbound shipments it's never cleared on time I'm always sitting at the border waiting 2 hrs minimum to cross even when I call and set it up 48 hrs in advance it's always an issue with them they cant even communicate properly, worst brokers ever!

Awful experience, was left by Livingston for 20h at Sweetgrass/ Coutts border crossing because of two mistakes made by their teams. Call centre is a waste of time, can’t provide clear and helpful info, I don’t even know way they keep asking our names and phone if they never call back. But they keep saying team is working on it.Unfortunately this company could care less about the human been seating on the truck wait. Shame.

By far the most unprofessional company i have ever done business with, no help and no communication after spending hours calling just to get a shipment cleared. beyond horrible

I used Livingston for a few commercial shipments but their recent assistance importing a commercial vehicle was incredibly dissatisfying. The fees were exorbitant, not well outlined in the quoting process and did not include all of the expenses required for the process of importing a vehicle. I am still receiving notices for bill payments from 3rd parities that I was never provided instruction or invoice for.I also imported a significant amount of steel from the US in April 2019 and was not informed of the steel tariffs until my shipment was waiting at the border. I was faced with an additional $8,000 Cdn in shipping charges that I was not made aware of that had to be paid immediately or face warehousing fees at the border.Overall I would say quality communication is what's lacking and resulting in incredibly high fees as a result. I will not use Livingston in the future.

This isnt directed to the Calgary branch - it is for Livingstons clearance department as a whole. Everyone should know by now they are the worst customs broker in existence. They receive your documents with a cover sheet, confirm they received the cover sheet yet they proceed to ask what the drivers ETA is. They do not even consider working on the shipment until you call them. You cannot talk to anyone who actually knows about the shipment, they say they will call back with an update but NEVER call. Wasting my time, my drivers time, and every other trucking company's time. Terrible experience every single time we have to deal with them. Nothing changes, I don't understand how they are in business. For anyone looking for a broker I highly recommend COLE international as they are leaps and bounds above Livingston.

ZERO SERVICES AND ZERO PROFESSIONALISM, WORLD'S CHEAP CUSTOMS BROKER..

I used LI in April 2017 to ship some equipment for my business. I haven't needed their services since. Today, I received an invoice for $55 for some unauthorized reason. It turns out that LI needs to meet new regulations that require modifications to customer accounts, so they're charging customers this fee to make those changes. What thieves. I'm going to send them an invoice for the same amount because I need to make a change in my accounting system to update their information. See how they like it.
