I have had the pleasure of being on 3 hunts with Kevin at Big Paw Outfitters, 2 Spring and 1 Fall. I have been fortunate enough to harvest a bear on each trip, including a giant Spring bear that measured 84” nose to tail! Kevin, the guides, and Wilma (the most amazing camp cook ever) make every aspect of this trip memorable, enjoyable, and safe. The food is always incredible and there is never any shortage, for any meal. The hunting has always been incredible and I’ve always had an opportunity to harvest a bear, luckily my shooting has been straight to go along with that opportunity. This hunt and experience is one that I look forward to from the moment I book and every time I’ve been to camp I have immediately been ready to rebook and return to hunt again in a year or two. I’ve been on several hunts around the US and Canada and this is one that I continuously come back to attend and always make the time for this hunt. The lodging is great. It is clean and comfy with all the comforts of home. Two people per room, washer and dryer for the camp, and a nice deck and fire pit for relaxing. I’ve been on trips where our group booked the entire lodge and also on trips where just 2 of us attended, all were perfect and all memorable. I highly recommend hunting with Kevin and Big Paw Outfitters. I hope to draw a moose tag one day to be able to add to my experiences with them. It was one of the best hunts that I have ever done, the people were regular down to earth people and the food was great, and for me to say that means you need to book a hunt I can Guarantee you will not regret it.

This was my first bear hunt and I had a great time with my son. All the people involved were professional. I harvested my bear. The time spent with my son, Kevin, and Todd will last a lifetime.

Poor quality folks, atrocious practices and a waste of money. I wish I hadn't conducted business with them. Watch out for Mike, bad news.

I have had the opportunity to hunt the Spring and Fall Black Bear Hunts with Big Paw Outfitters. Owner Kevin Caissie, his guides and Camp Cook Wilma are nothing but professional and welcoming. From beginning to end, all accommodations were great and comfortable. Wilma's cooking was very good and I never went hungry, and let me mention about the all you can eat lobster Thursday. Kevin and his guides did everything to make all my hunting experiences the best it could ever be. It feels like I have known them for a lifetime. The bear hunts I have been on have been the best hunts I have gone on to date, and I have gone a lot. It is truly an experience of a lifetime. I have taken and/or had the opportunity to take a bear every time I have hunted with Kevin and his guides. Kevin and Guides are a top notch outfit. I’ve been on 2 bear hunts and 1 moose hunt. Every time great food and lot of game. Everyone in our camp got a shot and seen bears. We got 6 out of 8 bears on first trip and 2nd trip we went 6 for 6. I took my 17 year old son and Kevin was so great with him and it made my trip him getting his bear. Wilma is the best cook we’ve had at an Outfitters. Never will go hungry at this camp and I can say enough stuff. We are going to book a 2022 bear hunt. Thanks to all at BIG PAW OUTFITTERS
