Excellent place for evenings.

Meh, a lot of people. Could have been better spacing between vendors. Lots of choices for food trucks, not the place to go if you want farm fruits and vegetables. Parking wasn't an issue. It was ok.

Lovely new splash park with picnic tables around. Nice grassy areas & bike paths. Interesting water fountain........

We found Capstone to be a desirable location to want to live. The proximity to the trails, Bower Ponds, downtown, hospital, Food, Beverages and shopping was excellent.The issue of NO DEVELOPMENT is sad. The city seems to think that by having a few summer events will materialize in an onslaught of developers just wanting to be a part of the New Downtown.The reality is the city planners in charge of what’s happening in Capstone have this grandiose idea that huge developers will come in and occupy all the available Lots. At the moment the lots are not even serviced and the incentive packages being offered are still in the cities coffers. They clearly are not interested in local developers or professionals as they have turned our project down without real discussion or attention to information they themselves asked for. This is what’s happening to the core . City governance is being abused and internal power struggles result in very bad decisions such as letting this project go off the rails.A word of Caution to other Developers! Capstone is a beautiful new community in the heart of downtown Red Deer! There are gorgeous flowers, trees and green space that make this neighborhood look amazing! There are some great new housing developments and businesses popping up there. Capstone is surrounded by many great ammenities and I can't wait to see how this community shapes up! It was so nice taking a stroll through this lovely neighborhood!
