Amazing buns and pastries! The lunch sandwiches taste good and it's worth it for the portion.*Update Aug 2022: I'm a bit disappointed with the portion of the breakfast sandwiches recently...the portion has shrinked at least 1/3 (see latest picture). Effects of inflation??

Egg tarts were the highlight here at $2.25 and a larger than usual size. Very delicious and well made with great egg texture + flavour. It gets rather busy here being by the Mall and in front of a bus stop. The buns here are around mid $2ish as well and decently made. I would definitely come back here to grab some more baked goods. The Hong Kong milk tea though was not the best experience...overly sweet (pre-made in the fridge) at $3.50. Service here was very quick to check you out. They also serve quick meals here. No seating inside...just an order and go kind of spot. It's a cash or debit card spot only.

The people are a bit rude which was surprising as it was my first day and place I went to in Vancouver and Canada overall. A person not necessarily yelled but hollered loudly at my sister to get in line to be helped where literally everyone heard and saw but she was just looking in the glass window where some baked goods were. She was definitely embarrassed and I felt concerned for her the rest of the day bc of it and bc they don't tell you they only allow cash or Canadian debit until you've gone up to the cash register with all the food you've picked then having to return it. It is written on a card smaller than a flashcard but again not written at the entrance or recognizable to the human eye before getting to the register. I've been to another Canadian bakery that only allowed cash and you noticed immediately when walking in they only accepted cash. So I wouldn't say we just weren't paying attention it just wasn't obvious for someone walking in for the first time.The woman in front of us had American cash that she was allowed to pay in exchange but was arguing with the lady at the register bc the bakery said $1 USD = 1 Canadian dollar but really a USD dollar is worth more since it's currently $0.73 Canadian dollar is $1 USD. So definitely felt like they were trying to cheat and make Americans pay more.

Delicious HK breakfast, been here three times already! The satay beef on a fresh pineapple bun is a must try. I've tried all the sandwiches and prefer the ham over the others (if you like spam they are very generous with the spam in the sandwiches). The noodle soup is soooo good, the broth is flavorful. There is always a little bit of a wait because they make the food fresh on order, but worthwhile. It gets a bit busy during breakfast/lunch hour.

It is the best Hong Kong-style bakery in the Greater Vancouver area. The egg tart and pineapple bun is excellent.

This is a favorite bakery with a lot of products. There's a breakfast station that's also offers tea and coffee (8 am -3pm). They offer traditional Chinese bakery items plus Western influenced bakery staples, milk bread and cakes. It's busy all the time so be prepared to queue at checkout. The line moves quote fast.

We came here because they do have the best Wife’s cake. The other bakery items were also delicious but I’ve had better bakery items from other bakeries. The most annoying thing was it is a CASH only shop. But they accept debt CARDS. CANADIAN debt cards only. Luckily my friends had some Canadian cash leftover.

Ordered the pineapple bun sandwich with luncheon meat (all sandwiches comes with eggs and cheese). There’s a slip to order just when you enter on the right. It was warm and delicious! The portion was very generous. Definitely would recommend.
