Staff is super cool. They will help you if you are for real. If you don't want to help yourself they will brush you off to make room for real people. I'm a bike messenger and I stayed here when I needed shelter while saving up for first and last month's rent for my own place and as long as you prove to the workers that you're legit, you are in welcoming hands. This is not a place for addicts who do not want to work or make their lives better.

Food could be better based on the millions of dollars in COVID monies there collecting,and the nuns can stop throwing are meals threw the window like there feeding animal's, I hope God doesn't throw things at us like The nuns do

A very well kept Shelter/Treatment/Soup Kitchen/ and prayer hall all in One big building. I was fortunate to do a bit of my recovery here and it was Fantastic!The counsellor named Dennis was super cool and fun guy to get along with and fight along side for you to transition from there (D.A.R.E) program to a more long term Rehab facility. Finally all Covid measures we're being followed as instructed by the Government.

Good shepherd Ministries saved me during a time of extreme struggles. Some people tend to not see the obstacles in life once things are settled in and well but i have gone from employed to back on the street and homeless a few times in my childhood up until recently in my young adulthood. I could never get on my feet because i was never aware places like this exist and i can not stress the importance of them enough. It takes time for people to make improvements in their life and having food to eat is what makes it possible to eventually land a job and successfully make it through the 3 weeks of training before getting a paid. But more importantly some people are never as lucky, with opinions aside not everyone gets the job and some struggle with bad luck interview after interview and do not have families to help support them or even friends to help them stay a while.. My thanks goes out to everyone involved. You really do save lives.. Thank you.

This is a Very Helpful Place that I have been going to for over 25 years, They have many different services and I always learn of more as time goes by that some I have used when needed, they fed me when I was hungry, they gave me a bed when I was homeless, they budget my money and help pay my bills to keep me off the streets, they even got me a savings account.

This has to be the best of all the shelters in Toronto. They saved my life along with other reasons also. They are strict at times and that's ok. They have to be. When I needed them they were there and I can't say enough. If you're ever stuck outside and need a shelter to go to, go there. They wont turn you away m
