I’ve bought two used boats (Whaler and Sea Ray) from the original owners that bought the boats at M&P. I’ve had some work done on my Sea Ray here and I’ve always been satisfied. Recently I had them do work on my trailer and they were fantastic. Courtenay was very good about communication and setting expectations. They were on time, fair price, and great work. Their trailer guy is a magician, and super helpful!While searching for new boats I felt they were the only honest dealer to purchase from, so I ordered a new boat from them in January and can’t wait to get it!!

I’d like to thank the extremely professional and knowledgeable team at M&P Mercury. Lyle (sales) was my guide in helping identify the right boat. And as a bonus helped sell my 2005 Mastercraft. His guidance around utilizing the excellent service department to prep my boat for sale not only helped get a great price but I’m sure expedited the sale of my boat. Through their brokerage program I was able have M&P handle all the paperwork.It’s been 2 1/2 months and we couldn’t be happier with the ATX surf boat we purchased.

Picked up the boat with the new motor and looks great. They cleaned my dirty boat too!!! Thanks a lot guys great job getting it on and ready for my fishing trip! They even crated the new one and got it dispatched to a buyer from Kijiji that I lined up. Great helpful staff. Most competitive price for the 150 xl. 1000 dollars cheaper than everyone else and they had it in stock, no delivery time. Great for procrastinators like me.

As many have posted here, they are disorganized and dishonest.Some of these 5 star reviews are from employees which is a completely dishonest practice and conflict of interest.I will never return for service to this business but battling now with Brunswick/Sea Ray for support as well as they clearly want to move boats versus keep their customers happy.Warranty work was not signed off by me but performed by M&P and botched so that will be a legal matter. I had to request documentation submitted for the warranty scope and it was submitted as being performed in Sept 2021 when they didn’t even have my boat. They worked on it in Spring 2022. They had the boat for 3 months for a structural repair that the paper work shows 15 hrs for. This is far from over but largely because of the approach. Dan, the manager just tried to defend and justify the visibly shotty work. Such the wrong approach. It’s all in how issues are handled to avoiding lasting negative sentiment.Trust the one star reviews you see here as you know those aren’t employees and based in real estate experience.

To discribe the losses they have caused me and my family. I lost my wife in the process as she was so fed up with me in buying a boat to result in such a failure.Nobody could have done anything but the dealership.The dealership told me when the boat returned (for second time) that it wasn’t fixed but to except it as it is and the factory has agreed to build me a new hull but they won’t start till fall.I exceptedThe boat but didn’t except how long they would take putting me at risk of sinking as this is how bad the hull is.Low and behold it turns out they only got me to except it so they could push me away.They then told me the boat has only a one year warranty bc it was commercialHmm never used it as commercial. Never registered it as commercial and yet I registered warranty claim 1 month after purchase when my I was showing off my new boat to my buddy who arms the largest fibre glass repair on the island stated my boat is falling apart. Finally made the new boat purchase and since purchasing it brand new in 2015 I’ve suffered nothing but pain, been stranded at sea 2 x from faulty equipmentWas without my boat for 7 out of 12 months first year I owned it and they didn’t even fix the boat when it left BC Canada to the east coast USA.When they shipped the boat back the dealer called me first to tell me it’s 4 months but it was held up at the border because the driver had a criminal Record and couldn’t cross the border. Then 2 weeks later it arrived and the dealer called me to tell me all the lists of stuff that were approved in writing did not get fixed and it’s in worse shape.Then I demanded something be done.They made an offer in writing to either paint my boat with auto paint (obsurd) or give me a brand new boat in the fall. This was in 2016...I’ve had it liked over by many fibreglass professionals and all say it’s factory failure and the gel coat and fibreglass didn’t bind due to moisture trapped in the fibreglass this had made my beautiful blue boat be covered in white specs that all allow moisture into the sun structure.I was told on many occasions by professionalsThat one day the boat will just fail.Now this boat is certified and will fail catastrophicly and it came with a full lifetime hull warranty and the factory in writing admitted to it needing to be replaced yet nothing has been done.It’s a must that I ensure that any potentially purchasers know what they will get.What an amazing boat I’m told every time I launch it. Yet if the world only knew howThe factory treats its boat owners after purchase.Corporate greed on young families has to stop

There's a certain attitude going on dont know if it's company related. I wanted to buy an outboard phoned left a message no call back. Bought a $4400 kicker else where. Many times when needing parts no answer. Had an experience where they refused to return an item. Washers at $130 value not needed for injectors. I just needed gaskets. Huge fuss. I probably spent over 1500 dollars in parts at this store over the years.3 stars unless they fix the internal problem. Used to be a good store.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience with M&P Mercury. We worked with Boyd Roe and Lyle Williams on the search for and eventual purchase of our beautiful new boat. It took months to find and when we did, the process was very smooth. The boat needed some work so all of it was completed at M&P and it now looks and performs like a brand new vessel. We could not pick it up right away and there was no problem with it residing there for a few extra weeks while we sorted our moorage. On the day we finally put her in the water, we did not have a part that was absolutely required to launch - we called and Boyd hopped into his car and drove it down to us within a 1/2 hour of our phone call. We highly recommend this business and especially Boyd and Lyle! Thank you!!

Was looking at a used boat and Grant is sales went out of his way to answer every question and even went out in the rain to get me more pictures. I didn't end up buying the boat, but the service was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate going back and recommend you give them a look!

Exceptional service from our salesperson Boyd Roe. He handled everything from negotiations with his boss, to organizing the undercoating and other things needed by the service team to pull this deal together - in a tight timeline. His knowledge, additional time spent researching things we requested, like the windlass anchor - went above and beyond! He provided his cell number and was quick to respond to any questions, even outside normal work hours, when we had time. Our family was dealing with a health crisis throughout this purchase and the compassion and patience Boyd showed was something we will never forget and it didn’t end when the deal was done. We have already recommended this dealership and Boyd to friends and would not hesitate to purchase from M & P again.
