Shoppers Drug Mart

A simple transfer request for a prescription from another Shoppers to this one has taken over a week so far. I’ve called twice, and once I was told they would call the other Shoppers then I was never updated on if anything actually happened. The second time I tried to call I was left on hold for over ten minutes and never even got to speak with an employee.It’s been 4 days since I’ve been able to take my medication and this pharmacy seems unable to provide the services it advertises. I would not advise having your prescriptions managed here based on my experience.UPDATE: Changed from 1 to 3 stars. After 12 days of no contact from this location aside from calling them once last week and once today, my prescription apparently has been ready for a few days, although I wasn’t notified in any way, and on the website it still says it’s pending a transfer. The lady on the phone today was much more helpful than anyone else I’ve spoken to at this location. Given the fact that EVENTUALLY it worked out I decided to up the review. I would not recommend this location for time sensitive prescriptions though. I was out of meds for 8 days and it wasn’t very pleasant.

This is the worst SDM I have had the displeasure of using...and I have used many across the country. Prescriptions take forever to be filled...more than 24 hours is not uncommon. Staff move at a snail's pace and are indifferent. Taking my business elsewhere.

I went to this location to grab a mascara that was on sale, but unfortunately when I went to the front cash the sale already expired and we realized the price label was not updated. The woman at the front was very kind and understanding, and honoured the sale. They try their best and work very hard at this drug store.

Worst shoppers drug mart I have ever been to or had to be on hold with while calling… these guys will leave you on hold for 35 minutes just because they don’t want to answer the phone, they didn’t care about anything I had to say and they took over 24 hours to get my prescriptions transferred and I decided to go somewhere else they literally are the worst customer service ever

By far the worst pharmacy I've used in the province of Nova Scotia. Consistently disorganized, very rude and entitled staff, and very rarely is medication ready for pickup when they say it will be. I haven't had an experience picking up medication here in the last year where I haven't been frustrated.

This is my favorite shoppers store which uses the smallest space but has much more options for an single type of product. It's quite well organized and time-efficient for customers to find out what they are heading to. In addition, I appreciate its longer opening hours in this location. It seems that the store is the last one to close in the Spring Garden Road. In a word, it's a little bit enjoyable for me to shop in the store.

The cosmetics staff here are a joke! They just stand around to grab customers who pay for big name items for their commissions, and the pharmacist owner sits on her plastic backside just to post her selfies on instagram! Complacent much? She lacks professionalism, job efficiency, and code of conduct from shoppers head office!

Laziest pharmacists in the whole of HRM. They’ll tell you your meds will be ready in a certain amount of time and regardless of what that time is, one or two or three hours, they wait until you’ve come back to even start working on filling your prescription, so you end up having to wait in the store sometimes upwards of 45 mins. And then when you get upset, they have the nerve to get mad at you for being upset. Terrible customer service. Maybe if they stopped flirting with each other for more than 1 minute at a time they would have the time to actually do their jobs.

Poor customer service. I was just looking for products to buy from the beauty aisle and an employee came up to me saying “I can hold this for you”. (the products I was looking to buy) that is unacceptable and makes no sense. She didn’t do this to any other customers but me. She was racially profiling me and assuming I was going to steal when I was simply just looking for makeup. This is terrible and needs to be worked on.

My doctor warned me about this pharmacy and I should of listened. If you have any time sensitive medications DO NOT GO HERE. If your life depends on your medication, play it safe and go elsewhere.Clear your calendar if you get your medication here. 30+ minute wait time on the phone anytime of the day just to be put on hold for another 30 minutes and then be hung up on because they're too busy.If you show up in person because you've been trying for 3 days to avoid having to show up in person, you wait 30 minutes for a pharmacy tech to acknowledge you so they can tell you to come back 8 hours later for your medication.When you come back 8 hours later they tell you to come back tomorrow. When you call the next day to make sure your medication is ready to save the trip, you get put on hold for 30 minutes.
