Fernie Mountain House

What started out as a girls weekend, turned into so much more. I had never been to Fernie, but started at the top by staying at Fernie Mountain House! I could never go back without staying there. The views were breathtaking and the luxury accommodations were so incredibly welcoming, anyone would enjoy them. Three floors, 2 kitchens, 2 sets of laundry facilities and suites throughout that allow you privacy when you want to be alone, but great rooms on each floor that accommodate large gatherings. During my stay I enjoyed some walks, a movie at a 114 year old theatre in downtown Fernie and a fashion show. I would go back in a heartbeat!

What a beautiful house! The small and large details put into this house are amazing - everything from the elevator to the heated mats leading to the hot tub to everything in between. There is enough room for multiple families to be together or to have their own spaces.We also had the pleasure of having Victor from Elk Valley Catering cook a meal for us during our stay - I highly recommend booking him while staying here! He is familiar with the kitchen and his food is top notch.I cannot wait to return next year with the family!

FMH is one of the best places we have stayed on the mountain ever! It accommodated our huge family of 17! It was a true ski in and out even for the little kids and with the sound proof room between the kitchen and the bedrooms everyone has space and quiet! Bo was awesome answering all the questions about the house and it’s high tech features!! And the view can’t be beat!!

Fernie Mountain House has played an amazing part of my life over the last year, being able to help grow my craft of cooking. Being where i got married to my amazing wife this fall.The owners and manager are al incredible people who i hope to continue working and going with for some time.

Everything was spectacular! We were amazed with the views, the location, the amenities, the furniture and appliances and even the very convenient elevator. We couldn't have been happier with staying at Fernie Mountain House, which we consider to be world-class ski hill accommodation.

WOW!! Stunning property with Stunning Views of the Rocky Mountains.Fernie Mountain House offers 5 Star Accommodation ..no detail is missed...beautiful kitchen and large entertaining area...multiple washrooms...many bedroom configurations...patio area with gas fire pit...hot tub...your own games room!! This property would suit any getaway...wedding, family, or corporate. Also steps away from skiing, live entertainment, pubs and restaurants. Our stay over the Christmas holidays was absolutely beautiful. Looking forward to returning this summer to explore another season in beautiful Fernie.

My stay at the Stuart's house was nothing short of amazing. The beautiful house and lovely surrounding mountains make you feel like your in paradise. Everything about this getaway was perfect, especially the housing! Thanks again for being so good our family!Cheers,Scott Brownlee (favourite son)

We had a wonderful stay with a group of friends. The house was very well appointed with thought put into every detail. Loading our bags into the elevator to take us to the main living space was welcomed after a long drive. There was ample room in the main living area for all of us to gather as well as other cozy living areas in the home if we wanted some quiet time. The suite we had was very comfortable with amazing bedding and an adjoining bathroom. The views from the house were beautiful and the location was great. We were there right after ski season was done, but there was still opportunity to go for walks and bike rides. There were lots of things to do and see right in the area. This is a perfect place to be with family or a group of friends. I highly recommend.

Gorgeous home with stunning mountain views and all the amenities you could dream of. No detail was overlooked.FMH is kid friendly with gates sectioning off the main area and is fully equipped with high chairs, booster seats and travel cribs. There are also toys and games in the TV room.It is a quick walk to the bunny hill for the kiddos or there is a ice fishing sled available to tote them and all their gear around.We had a fantastic family getaway and can’t wait to go back. Would also be an ideal setting for a friends trip. Highly recommend!!

Fernie Mountain House was absolutely amazing - the views and location are incredible. Every room and the outdoor spaces were trendy, functional and mindfully designed. The great room and kitchen are set up well for hosting and the kitchen was stocked with anything you could need and more. Enjoyed the Sonos Radio multi-speaker controls for the kitchen and hot tub spaces too - a nice touch!
