A little pricy, yes. But as a first timer it was a fun place to visit. The waffle was decent and the ice cream was really good. My daughter and I shared one and it was plenty.

Happy place! Love the deserts. If you are into waffles and crepes with lots of options for toppings this is your place. We tried delivery as well. The packaging was great and even the ice cream got to us in perfect condition.

Huge and tasty desserts for sweet lovers. I went to this place with a friend who recommended it. This places has a 60's dinner vibe and the people working there are great. They have desserts with great names and some recommendations in the menu, vegan options and winter choices. I recommend to share one between two or four persons since amounts are pretty generous. They have waffles, crepes, sundaes and another ton of options. Please come a leave a nice tip.

Most amazing spot for all things dessert.By far the most professional and welcoming Demetres location I've ever been to. (And I've been to almost all of them)SUPER friendly staff and great dessert... can't go wrong.10/10 recommend The Sweetcar Named Devour crepe and I add oreo bits!!

I would highly recommend this spot! They made it super cute on the inside and their menu items are named in a funny way. I got the sundae which is huge, enough for two people to share and is totally worth the price.

I’ve been going here for years and the desserts are always so good! It’s one of my go-to post-movie spots since it’s in the same plaza as the Cineplex theatre. I like that they change up the menu and add new options every now and then. The ice cream crepes and waffles are so filling and can easily be shared between two people. The service is usually excellent, though can be a bit slow sometimes when it’s really busy (once had to ask for the bill twice). The atmosphere is very nice but it can get kind of loud when the place is full.

Visited with my bf last night and it was soooo good. They were busy so our milkshake came the same time as our food. It was kinda pointless ordering it as it was just as rich as the waffles. We would of liked to sipped on it before our food came. I did notice this was happening with the other tables aswell. Food was amazing but $65 for 2 waffles and the milkshake but that is to be expected with all the Belgium chocolate etc;

Great experience overall! I got the Ginger bread with the french style waffle thing, (the one with the squares on it). Highly recommend, service was great, prices are standard. Would definitely come back. The cheesecake was bomb.
