I went to the emergency department after an unfortunate accident while horseback riding… I was kicked in the leg and had a small but deep gash which required stitches. The staff were very pleasant but the quality of the actual treatment was shocking - the wound was not flushed out at all which, unsurprisingly ended in an infection several days later.I was also given very poor advice - I was told to remove the stitches after 7 days which would have been a huge mistake due to the location and depth of the cut.I was given only 2 sutures for an inch long wound, which I did question, but was told it was fine and didn’t need any more. I wasn’t able to find any steri strips in Jasper to reinforce the stitches myself, so the wound then spread and I’ve ended up with an unnecessarily large and ugly scar. As there was so much spreading, it took ages to heal and ended up with a lot of slough which needed to be removed....what should have taken a few weeks to fully heal then dragged on for several months.I feel it was slap dash treatment and, without naming any doctor in particular, the emergency staff need to brush up on some basic skills.

Came here after hitting my head on the ski slopes and was worried about concussion symptoms. The doctor was very kind and helpful, but the nurse was very judgmental and pushy about my choice to not be vaccinated for COVID-19. I’m not sure why it was even a question in my write up to be honest I had no symptoms at all.

Okay first off I understand that service might be busy today but a thirty minute wait time just to book a reservation? I was told I'd be redirected to someone else on call but it seems as if they just put the phone down and completely forgot about the call. If I didn't live in Jasper I wouldn't have even bothered with this place

We are on a tour of Western Canada, and we had a family member get some high altitude sickness and along with some virus symptoms. We ended up in the hospital after being taken there by ambulance. The doctor and the nurses were absolutely wonderful. So very kind and courteous and very personable. They were very patient And they asked the correct questions. They were so attentive. Jasper is so fortunate to have this wonderful medical facility. Even though we are from out of the country, we were treated with the upmost respect. The registration lady was absolutely wonderful. I believe her name was Donna. We are very thankful that we were treated so kindlyThank you to the staff of Seton of Jasper..

I was visiting from Calgary for 3 days. On April 4 (Easter Sunday) I woke up in my hotel room with a chest pain. I decided to go to Seton - Jasper Healthcare Centre. I was taken in right away and given the best treatment. As my condition remained unimproved after their best efforts, the great folks at the clinic arranged a medical flight to Edmonton for me. In Edmonton I underwent emergency surgery. Many thanks to the kind folks at the Jasper clinic for taking timely actions to help me. Thanks from the bottom of my heart!

I have consistently received nothing but the rudest interactions here. Came today for blood work and got yelled at by the nurse for not having a appointment, even though it’s not required. Embarrassing for them, no big deal for me lol

My husband was very weak and a stroke in progress, Amber took him immediately and started to give him care while I registered him. He was taking great care by all staff including Dr Richier. Thank you very much for your excellent services.

I visited the Seton-Jasper Healthcare Centre in August 2017 during a road trip in Jasper.I had been walking in Jasper town during an evening and the wind gusted, blowing a dust particle in one of my eyes. My eye wouldn’t stop watering and burning and I couldn’t open it so I paid a visit to the Jasper hospital. After checking in at the front desk, I was taken into a room immediately. There was zero wait time which was perfect. A female doctor checked out my eye. She was patient, kind and professional. She tried flushing my eye with water, examined it with a machine and put some eye freezing drops inside while checking for dust or anything inside my eye. After multiple methods were tried, my eye finally stopped burning and watering and I was able to keep it open. The service at the hospital was fantastic. The doctor and nurse were so compassionate and understanding. I am very grateful for the efficient service. So glad nothing was seriously wrong with my eye and that I could continue exploring and hiking in Jasper!

The name Lorraine in the night shift was extremely helpful and friendly, she saw us in the lobby waiting and she came to offer the vacant room in the hospital to make us comfortable while waiting. Thumbs up for that.

Staff was amazing when I fractured my elbow Christmas Eve. The triage woman was patient and super friendly. Nurse Dean talked me through everything and kept me calm, I really can’t thank him enough. Dr Chan and the other dr they called in were kind and treated me with urgency. The 2 female nurses were amazing at chatting with me and keeping me distracted. When I came back the next day to get my bandages adjusted they remembered my name and asked how I was doing. Healthcare is a hard industry right now, their kindness and compassion did not go unnoticed
